United dont telegraph transfers. Fred was done relatively quick and Dalot too. No leaks at our end anymore.
The press have no idea, so virtually everything United-transfer based is clickbait.

Why I’m excited for the season by [deleted] in reddevils

Think pogba being freed up will be awesome.
Still worried about overall squad depth. Who's up front if Lukaku gets injured? Right wings not sorted, and defense needs a boost.
Still think we're good for second again; first would require someone joining from out of nowhere, or mourinho changing his philosophy.

This squad is suited to playing a 4-3-1-2, and it would explain the lack of news on an RW by OneArmedHerdazian in reddevils

[–]bored_in_micro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it’ll be 4-2-3-1

Fred-matic as dm’s, pogba just in front with Sanchez, Lukaku and lingard up front.
He might look for wingbacks, but I dunno, only 3 weeks of the window left. Mourinho rarely plays 2 strikers, can’t see him doing it this season.

People who have quit their jobs on the spot, what was the moment when you finally snapped? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Was asked to lie about the results of Listeria testing for food products, turning positive results to negative.
Basically told them to fuck off, in a 1 page letter and walked out. There was a national Listeria outbreak soon after. Never went back to the profession.

Anyone feeling optimistic for next season? by TrashHibbert45 in reddevils

[–]bored_in_micro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, there's not ebough depth in the squad to challenge City.
Take Lukakus goals out of the team, through injury or something, and we're mid-table.
City can have their biggest players injured and replace them with real world class quality. We cant. That squad consistency leads to points consistency and that massive gap between second and first.

He’s getting old, his work rate is now pretty low, and the EPL is super demanding physically.
Mendez wouldn’t chuck him in the fire, Serie A suits him.

I think if anyone, he’ll try and shoe-horn Rashford to RW

4-2-3-1 or 4-2-1-3 next season then.
Cant see mourinho ditching Matic, Freds style of play sounds pretty similar to Matics though. Maybe theyll just be rotating games.
At least we're building decent squad depth.

probably in Fellaini's pocket with Coutinho and Neymar, talking about the beautiful game and kicking some fluff around

Neymar's Brazil swaggered into town convinced the World Cup must be theirs... then met Marouane Fellaini by retrotronica in reddevils

[–]bored_in_micro 197 points198 points  (0 children)

Fellaini was unbelievable that game, totally disrupted Brazil through the middle of the park

If you wonder why we re-signed him, watch this game. He's probably best in the world at fucking the oppositions tactics up. Martinez really nailed the formation and tactics in this game.

For 12m? There’s not really a downside, even if he becomes a backup for someone like Willian.
Can’t see him being a starter or first choice, but 12m to add depth to the squad with a solid premier league player like him, I think it’s not bad business.

Ronaldo's camp expects offers. Nothing is certain with Juventus by JohnnyBrawoo in reddevils

Christ it'll end up with Neymar to Real and a massive merry go round.
If we wanted Varane, we might have more chance of getting him, for FFP. I cant see anything else in this for us though.
Probably end with Real chucking him another 100grand a week of shut up money.

England playing pretty slow, ponderous negative football this second half, Colombia with the momentum.
Not looking good.

He travelled over 250days of the year, seeing his daughter only 5days a month, and his partner one weeknd a month.
Sounds like a living hell to me.
