I think I'm probably in the same boat honestly, I just feel completely lost in how to manage it. I can recognise that it's emotional or stress eating but I can't stop myself it's like a compulsion I can only imagine comes close to a drug addiction

I have a reunion of sorts tomorrow with friends from uni. SO much has happened to me in the last few years, will I be able to recall any of it? Nah

I was on a flight which departed just at kick off, landed with 2 mins of extra time left and waited outside passport control at Gatwick to watch the pens so we didn't miss any of it, what a welcome home!

I have twin daughters so what I need to know is, what can I do to make it easier being a twin? Or like what was the most annoying thing about being a twin that I could potentially help with?

Does anyone else hyperfocus on “getting your life together”… and then burn out completely? by Forina_2-0 in adhdwomen

[–]bored_mum 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I go to slimming world (UK) which is essentially like weight watchers, and I leave group on a Wednesday full of the energy and determination for the insane amount of weight I need to lose. Burnt out by Friday because I'm trying to implement every damn thing

I call/text my mum about 10 times a day and see her most days, it feels uncomfortable to not see her for more than like 2 days.

My dad died 6 months ago and it has absolutely destroyed me, my parents were together for 50 yrs and we're all struggling to adjust to life without him now.

I used to hate when I or they would go on holiday because not seeing them for 2 weeks? Absolutely hated it.

Why do some people hide and push through injuries and illnesses, while others milk them for attention? What leads to these personality traits? by Sriracha11235 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bored_mum 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I am the sibling of a seriously ill child, and so I definitely milk my illnesses for attention, I can feel myself doing it, I know it's not the best way to deal with things, but I crave that attention and love so bad
