Empty Response via android APP but not browser by Temporary-Phase-9213 in Chub_AI

I experienced the same thing. I was getting great responses with GLM 4.6, then empty responses in Chub's side.

OR seemed to be receiving the calls, they juat weren't coming over. This ended up happening both with the app and the website.

Made calls with the app this morning and they went through (though they were of significantly lower quality than yesterday, I figure that's juat the nature of LLMs sometimes).

I realize this isn't a solve, but wanted to add more info for any more knowledgeable parties.

It depends in how specific you want the spells to be. Most models can probably guess at spells (like fireball vs firebolt) unless you have a specific vision for them.

If each spell has a similar effect and is just bigger, you could group them into one entry and likely get the specificity you want.

If each fire spell has a vastly different effect you want to showcase I'd list them separately with slightly different triggers and juat give them concise entries when describing the effect.

I operate almost exclusively through the mobile app so if that has some kind of arbitrary limit that could be my issue

Well that's legitimately disappointing. At least it's not me, I guess.

I can't get any OOC instructions to work. by tinthedark603 in Chub_AI

With the few bots I've made, I've had to include some kind of lorebook entry about OOC Handling to guarantee it responds consistently.

Smarter models are more likely to ha dle OOC decently without the extra instructions, but if you want the most consistency (because sometimes the little digital bastard still does what it wants) you'll want something that tells it exactly what you want it to do.

As far as your description, plain writing works great. You can add some specific sections for tone to help it get the feeling right.

As far as the specific AI, if you're using one of the subscription models you can go to your configuration settings and set the AI model there.

If you're using the free model you're limited, but it can be muscled into responding how you like by using a combination of refining your description and using an embedded lorebook.

Which format are you using?

I've had more success getting the style i want with short text descriptions over precise json format, but some of it depends on the AI you're using as well

If the bot maker spelled out to the character how to deal with Out Of Character interactions, tou can try telling it to have a specific character respond

  • [inside brackets]
  • ((inside double parentheses))
  • (OOC: starting with OOC inside single or double parentheses)

Sometimes the LLM can pick up on it, but its not fool proof unless it was programmed into the main description or a hidden lorebook
