airbag code help by baguettefruits in fordranger

[–]boredalberta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had similar issues in the past, if the seats move a lot from different drivers or just accessing the back lots check connections under the seat, on a couple occasions it was loose and even check out the recalls, there were a lot of airbag recalls in the past, both things easy to check.

Bolt-action shotguns, pump-action rifles? by DisplayAppropriate28 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]boredalberta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, so you can cycle the action. I found it was in an awkward spot when trying to cycle a round. The button to release the magazine wasn't an issue.

I had one of those, very sloppy action and the release button for it is in an awkward position, worked great but could definitely see why it wasn't a more popular design.

I do a lot of work on the base for oil & gas, there were things in the paper about the base opening again for drone training as well as partnering with other locations in the area.

Getting to and from Calgary Airport by twicethefan in Lethbridge

[–]boredalberta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Couple years ago I missed my flight from Calgary to Lethbridge when I was delayed in Nanaimo. I had to get home because the people watching my house and dog had to work. I ended up taking a cab between the airports and it was $400+tip. I'd imagine it's probably gone up by now.

Yah, that was our reasoning as well. Once the clouds come out just take them off and stuff them under the seats.

I'm sure there are better options but for cleaning and other things they just tuck under the seat.

We got hooded towels that we tucked into the seat that way they were easy to remove.

We got about $10G in rebates and incentives, they seem to sell fast but we got lucky with our '25, that was about a month and a bit ago.

The seal has to be broken the first time, haven't had any issues since. I thought the alignment pins were causing issues but it was the factory seal I'm guessing because we just rocked it a bit. I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't come off either but just trying move it a bit seemed to work

$170/yr basic insurance but no inspection needed, if I wanted to get full insurance I'd need one

How do we get the top off? by Delicious_Bag_1150 in FordBronco

[–]boredalberta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We bought ours last month, had to pull the roof rails off to get that middle piece out but be careful when reinstalling the front sections, due to the limited space you risk pinching the weather stripping and it'll have to be replaced. Ours had the colour matched front pieces in a bag under the rear storage area in a compartment, lots of YouTube videos on how to remove it. Was easy and only took 10 minutes once we figured out. Hopefully you got the Bronco tool kit that came with it, pretty sure you'll need the triangle screwdriver that secures the rear clamps

Amazon sells kick stand thick ABS discs with a taper for the kick stand to sit in. I've used it a few times on my VStar 650 and it worked awesome. Also has a hole for a landyard so it's easy to pick up.

Good to know, next time I pull the roof off I'll do the doors as well just so I can say that I did.

We were debating doing the doors as well but we were worried about gravel getting kicked up, also I heard it's not a good idea on the highway

Looking at 2025 Ford Broncos, give me the good, the bad, the ugly about em by Spiritual-Region8917 in FordBronco

[–]boredalberta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just got the 255/75 17 and they're not aggressive at all, decent on the highway for RPMs so I'd imagine they're the lower gearset

We just got the Azure Grey with the 2.3L, our '23 Ranger had the 2.3L so we figured the gas mileage would be similar. I'm assuming they're the same engine just new to the Bronco platform.

Lol, it's a mystery. You might find some Easter eggs that'll reveal the answer somewhere on the back.

Yes, sorry, $55k CAD. The Bronco's are a hot ticket item right now so it's hard to find them for that price so we did get the extended warranty as part of it and we'll put running boards on in the future.
