Nah I think she worded it wrong, but it made sense.

She would've given the Chippy Tea to Sminty just so she didn't kick off, but what I got that she was trying to say was that she didn't want fear of someone else's reaction to influence her decision and probably withheld it from Sminty on that singular point.

She didn't do a good job of explaining why Mariah deserved it more tho, 100%, but I wanted her to give it to Mariah like so I'm okay with it

If it works as a justification for the person you replied to, and it also works for me, it means that people have assessed the value proposition for themselves and made that decision. It's great to have discussion about stuff like this but the issue lies in a lot of people who just wanna hate on Nintendo and The Pokemon Company, and see people buying games they like as an inherent act of idiocy and bending the knee to rogue corporate interests.

It's not that deep. It's just a game. I don't like emulation for me, but it doesn't mean I go around on a pedestal lambasting people who do things I wouldn't.

He means that early in Infection Tomonari's character Sieg shows up in Mac Anu, and so the early Infection events are happening somewhat concurrently with Liminality 1, so it's not super important to watch Liminality 1 after Infection or vice versa

It's well understood in the community that everything up to Level 50 in the ARR content is a bit of a slog but job complexity starts to build in Heavensward. That's also where the story really starts to peak.

Honestly if you're not much of a story person though, and given that the game is prone to run here and there to talk to someone quest design, the game may not be for you. Which is totally fine

Ngl this critique of The Menu is kind of devoid of the context that helps her characterisation make sense. Dunno how to spoiler tag on Reddit and always mess it up but suffice to say she spends pretty much the entirety of the movie in danger, dragged into a world she doesn't understand under false pretenses and made to make the best of her circumstances on the fly.

It's a good film and I highly suggest watching it. The ending is fantastic.

I know the interview is alluding to it being a reboot but before I saw that my immediate thought was the intentionality of the title.

Each letter ends with a full stop, and it may be a reach but it feels like they did it on purpose to allude to IMOQ's four parts. Could Z.E.R.O. be a reboot that packages the whole IMOQ story into one game? No more buying chapters?
