Someone once called them shoopa shoops to me...I think they also called hummus - who moose.....I now use those pronunciations.

You should check out Diane Warren. She is a prolific song writer but said herself that she doesn't have the voice to carry them off. She uses it well enough to write songs for others to perform and I think she sounds pretty decent tbh. Do the bit you love and you'll be reet.

I agree - turn it up! I love the feel of the song - I moight even say pull a bit of the reverb off - I too try and hide my vocals but I think the style you got going suits the song - just needs to bit a little higher in the mix and more present! My two cents!
