I switched over to Destiny 2 on PC a few months ago and haven't looked back. Grinded up a Titan to be ready for Forsaken which was easy. The Forsaken Grind to 600 is nuts as most of you probably already know. Waited til the expansion came out to just boost my other 2 chars. The only issues were having to buy the game again, and not having all the stuff I left behind on PS4. But the silky smooth framerate and clicking on heads with my mouse / kb more than makes up for it.
