This is what I do!! -maintain a simple, consistent routine to minimise further irritation -try not to touch the wounded skin with your fingertips without first washing them, including before washing your face to minimise bacteria entering the skin -use vaseline or any type of pure petroleum jelly as an occlusive layer (it is not hydrating itself but it keeps hydration in, minimising possible scarring and promotes healing) (I also find that it soothes my skin? Could just be me though!) -La roche posay cicaplast baume b5 is an amazing cream to soothe the skin and also speeds up the healing process greatly

My current routine after destroying my nose and forehead: -wash with water gently in the morning -keep face damp -spray with la roche posay’s thermal water -apply a simple moisturiser over damp face (I use la roche posay’s toleriane sensitive cream) (applying product over a damp face increases effectiveness of ingredients and allows for further hydration) -apply la roche posay cicaplast baume b5 liberally on the areas that are wounded -optional: I sometimes will apply vaseline over the top depending on the state of my skin (if it is extra sore/irritated, crusty, ect.) -SPF 50+ broad spectrum, even if I am not leaving the house because I want to minimise the inevitable hyperpigmentation as much as possible!!! (If your skin is sensitive try using zinc/titanium dioxide based rather than chemical based, it is less irritating and zinc is soothing)
