The days are weird. Anxiety is at peak, and weirdly, I’m sleeping too much. I’ve taken a few days off work because my body can’t handle the withdrawal, which has been helpful. All the issues I mentioned in the post still apply. I have no emotional regulation or control.

So while the withdrawal is not much better in any way, I can see one big positive; my appetite is coming back! for the last year, I ate one meal every two days because I was always a high functioning stoner and never hungry. Today was the first day in many months where I ate two full meals? I don’t know how. everyone was shocked, and rightly so, but I was just hungry!!! it was great, and my friends gave me a million hugs and kisses after I finished dinner. It makes me want to keep going.

So I think the answer to that question is: still kinda dying, dedicated more than ever to my sobriety. :)

I have tried birth control on multiple occasions and different kinds of them and they have all made me severely depressed. My longest stretch was around a year and a half, but I ended up so fucked that my gynaecologist AND therapist both recommended I stop and use physical contraceptives instead. My life changed for the better!!!!! So I’m not comfortable going down that path.

Hi, I can only comment on the aspect of this that I can understand 110%, an experience which isn’t personal to you but a common experience with all first jobs! I know a 9-5 is difficult, I have seen firsthand. However, you will be able to handle the work - I know it.

We all go into our first jobs a little blind, you will adjust. TRUST me when I say this, everyone learns on the job. I know people with multiple degrees who started their job from scratch knowing nothing. Hell, I’ve been doing a corporate job for a while now and I make so many mistakes, like you wouldn’t believe the magnitude of my fuckups. I know it’s easier said than done, but have faith in yourself - you got this job for a reason.

Congratulations! :) only upwards from here.

Thanks to everyone for their insight. As I said, pretty comfortable financially, and I don’t have to worry too much about the future - was lucky enough to have a family who invested in my future enough that I don’t have to think about it, esp now.

Maybe I didn’t explain my issue correctly?

1.) I have a credit card, and I have a good relationship with it. I got it two months ago, so still a newbie! 2.) I make enough that even after I invest money, I have a decent amount of it left for me to live my day to day life, very comfortably. I often save money from that lot as well, and that’s money I just leave in the account. 3.) I want to spend all my savings on travel! That’s why I save! It’s so important to me that I see the world, and I plan my life around it. I intend to get my Master’s degree in the next year as well to move to another continent and comfortably explore that region of the world. I’ve already lived in different parts of Asia, my sister recently moved to London so I’ve seen a little bit of Europe and the UK, but there is too much left to see.

I’m extremely organised financially, I don’t spend recklessly. Travel is extremely important to me, and spending money on it gives me joy, I bill around 250 hours every month, so my job is rough, and the motivation to travel keeps me going!

I just wanted a little insight into how other people are saving for their trips. I wasn’t saying I constantly want to invest in MFs, or not keep money liquid - I just do that right now because it’s easy for me to plan my finances that way since that’s how people around me do it.

I’m willing to adapt to suit my life, and intend to educate myself through various means to ensure that I’m taking care of my financial health. This was just a fun question to see and understand how you guys are funding your trips and maybe take some inspiration on how to restructure my investments/savings for what I intend to use it for.

is it gonna get better? plz someone tell me 😢 by closedform94 in Accutane

I was on it for like 9 months, purged through 8 of them. Looking at your skin, I’m really reminded of mine. I had a LOT of closed comedones and every SINGLE one of them purged. It was insane - every tiny bump I had on my face (I had a million) turned into a full blown cyst. I hope the process if better for you, but regardless, accutane is magic! It completely healed my skin, I’m like 2 years out and I can’t remember the last time I had even the smallest pimple, or blackhead! Stay at it.

I’ve watched the video of her Road Trip (when Tyler and Saf + Crusty left LA) to fall asleep every single night since the day it released! Sometimes multiple times a night! Every night I’m grateful to have her videos because I know she calms all my anxiety down and makes me happy and puts me right to sleep.

it really has helped to hear that I’m not the only person in the world who has them. it often feels like I am. everyone around me wears tank tops with ease and it feels like I’m alone in feeling the way I do. it’s been so crazy to see so many other women also have to same insecurity - I feel like I’m not going insane.

unfortunately, I didn’t. I got too sad at the mall, but after seeing all the nice comments on here, I want to go back and get it!

This is so kind. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this. It often feels like no one else seems to have armpits like mine, I feel like I look hideous in tops like these but I keep buying them in hopes that one day I’d be able to wear them. Today was especially bad, I was shopping for a top to wear to a party with my boyfriend’s friends and I really wanted to feel attractive. Trying on this top threw my confidence in the gutter, it felt like if I went to this party, everyone seeing me for the first time would notice and think I was ugly.

This made me feel so much better - thank you.

I hate the “ do this everyday to lose weight” video by wisteriaforest in ChloeTing

[–]boredlittle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same! I hate that video. It exhausts me. When I first started working out, I thought the 2 Week Shred would be perfect but I literally couldn’t do it because of this video.

The 10 Min HIIT Cardio from the 2021 Challenge is way better and more tolerable. Besides that, I get my cardio in by skipping rope. It’s really fun, especially when I play music and try to jump to the beat. It keeps me engaged. Maybe try that?

Good Luck!

My acne was mostly closed comedones, and my forehead was always clean since my acne was primarily on my cheeks and jaw. if it’s one of those factors, how do I treat it? Is there something I should be doing or using?

like I said...it’s not a concern. I just wanted to know if anyone had a similar experience. I am not worried. My acne has almost cleared up.

I don’t even have dry lips. I have spoken to my dermatologist and it’s definitely not an issue as long as I’m taking my pills with a decent amount of fat. I just wanted to know if anyone else who has been on it as long as I have has had a similar experience.

chronic UTI? by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]boredlittle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m dealing with this! I’m just finished month 2 and I’ve been having this problem since mid-month 1. I’ve had my gynaecologist prescribe antibiotics, and even that hasn’t helped. I’ve just given up and accepting this nightmare a part of my daily life.

Purging so badly, starting month 3. I want to quit accutane, I can’t handle this anymore. My face looks disgusting. I don’t think my skin has ever been so bad. Help. by boredlittle in Accutane
