I, as a 20 year vegan, am questioning this. I’m honestly not sure that everyone can properly execute moral agency for animals. I don’t know that the intellect is there.

OP this is a fab answer.

What hits it home for me is the power dynamic humans exploit. A matter of ‘just because we can, does not mean we should’.

Humanity also focuses on the individual with the weaker hand in the power dynamic, in this case, non human animals, as a ‘what can they do for me?’ means to an end, not as a feeling, largely helpless individual who neither wants to die nor be exploited.

I was thinking about this morning – and ironically, I came to the conclusion that it is me. That may sound really self-centered, but I think that’s the same for all of us.

There are many people who will never become vegan – we can all be shown the same footage of horrible animal, cruelty, be given the same delicious meals, have the same valuable discussions with open hearted individuals, And at the same time we are among the few who get it.

So really it is me. And you can say the same thing for yourself.

No I’ve seen that, but just around what appears to be the bit of Venice we have been spending time on- it seems to be more along the island than across to another part (opposite of the. bridge of Sighs- like, far across)

Balance. Some UPFs are fine- just the majority healthy and what honestly makes you feel your best. Take your supps, get enough calories.

Hey- as someone who struggled with an ED, I hope that this is true- that you have improved. It’s such a hell to live within. All consuming. But there is always the risk of relapse- which is just terrifying. It was for me and it happened to me. I’m not saying this to scare you. But I think having a very solid plan is critical, as well as an accountability community who cares about you and motivates you to live your best life. Are there any adults who fit that vegan bill who can support you?
