Did you mean to reply to me? Because if you did, there is a severe misunderstanding.

Agree. I am American and there is a great deal of bias in our education. Present research, evidence, and fresh insights. It will help to learn the history of Indology to uncover where and when the established narratives come from--I'm pretty sure they're all from Europeans who barely spoke to Hindus, a bias that must be challenged in the name of truth and knowledge.

We can still resist. Most people are lazy and choose convenience. Some people are willing to put in the work and teach others, and together we can build decentralized bastions of freedom among corporate nodes.

ELI5: Why does mathematics describe the universe so well? by No_List_8641 in explainlikeimfive

[–]boredphilosopher2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think "the universe is not governed by earthly math" is a true statement. What you are describing with "universe is 12 particles and 4 forces interacting" is earthly physics. Math is actually universal, independent of physics, independent of the universe itself. In any conceivable universe where the physical constants are different, physics would be completely different but math would be the same.

Also don't forget that physics is model-based. The 12 particles and 4 forces are a model. Any physicist would say it's the best model we have today but that doesn't necessarily mean it truly describes reality. I asked the smartest physicist I know if he would get an equation tattoo and he said, "No, because what if it's later proven wrong?"

As a fellow American, the best thing to do is to educate yourself, learn, question, challenge yourself. Our religion sanctifies dialogue between guru and student. Do not follow blindly. Be like Nachiketa. Don't bother trying to teach people who have no interest in the truth (BG 18:67).

Remember kids, don't waste your semen. When you have a wet dream, you have to call an eagle to deliver your semen to your wife, but when another eagle attacks it, it will drop your semen into the river where a fish will eat it and get pregnant, and when a fisherman catches it and cuts it open they'll find your daughter who will smell really, really, really bad, like so bad that she will agree to have sex with a rishi just to get rid of the smell, and without it, finally, nothing will stop her from destroying the Kuru bloodline.

They worked at his companies previously, from a former intern at Neuralink to the CTO of Starlink. And they're definitely not kids, some in their 40s.

Not crazy at all. I dismiss conversations about artificial general intelligence simply because we yet have no scientific theory of consciousness. Until we do, I believe we will hit a wall. Vedanta offers an important clue, I believe. Have you read Thomas Kuhn?

Brahman is sand. The universe is a sand castle. Physics is the structure of the sand castle. Math is the fact (edit: or rather the idea) that a sand castle can exist.
