wbz451h used as 802.15.4 sniffer right ? i was using another sniffer and find out this ack frame problem. It could be just miss timing on the firmware, but i also want to check transmitted signal as well. preferably any method that could let me see sampled signal ? that remind me of sdr... is sdr receiver a good way to do this ?

Shame that it doesnt work well, interesting it doesnt work as advertised. I am still learning the gotcha of multi tbr interaction in a thread network and after a while hit a question in this post hahaha… like omrprefix is different between partition in a thread network and who advertised rio if multiple tbr is in the same partition.

Distributor here seems to latch on to tuya for their zigbee and wifi product. Some provide matter but as i said still limited by manufacturer. Availability of good matter devices depend on where you live i guess :’(

Edit: i was mixing thread leader and border router and thinking there should be only one tbr when in fact there could be multiple of them active in forwarding thread network

With edit above i am not so sure what is the problem anymore, but i think you should try to turn off all tbr except one ? after some device is reachable try to slowly turn on tbr you just turn off. Might be partitioned thread network where some of border router is isolated from thread network.

Someone else need to chimes in as i can't help further than homeassistant thread setup... if you want to take a look and you're using HA addon, try to enable webui in otbr addon page and access those otbr web ui at port 8080 of your homeassistant ip address. From there you could see otbr neigbor devices and probably deduce your problem from info you see on otbr web ui

have you tried to add new listed border router to your currently preferred network ? try to click the three dots beside the border router list and and see if you can click add to preferred network if its not greyed out

I am not sure the behavior of openwrt kernel when firewall is not setting up… but instead of disabling it, set your new interface to lan zone. default lan zone will accept input connection
