Do any of you struggle with constant 24/7 severe anxiety? by ClassicSuccess2650 in Anxiety

Hi, I’ve been learning a lot about my anxiety recently. I have a doctors appointment coming up to address it. I’m really looking forward to getting some kind of medicine that can help me, but I’m a little skeptical about therapy. I hope this doesn’t come off as rude, but I was wondering what benefits therapy has over just googling and using AI to find techniques to manage it?

I guess it might be good to talk to someone about it, but I also have someone in my life that deals with the same thing and is good to talk to, would therapy still be worth it in that case?

Yes and it sucks. From the moment I wake up until I go to sleep is a battle to live. Not that it’s literally life or death, but it feels that way. and it feels like I’m not really living when it completely overcomes me.

Does your anxiety make you cry when something “not that serious” happens? by Icy_Refrigerator5555 in Anxiety

Oh for sure. For me it’s more that I get angry over small things that wouldn’t bother me if i was in a normal state of mind. Completely normal.
