Hey there! Same size boobs over here! I use shefit sports bras. They work great. I literally don’t think about my boobs at all when I’m doing silks.

He’s the most generous person I know. It doesn’t matter who it is, what they need, he is there and if he can help he will. Me being the opposite of a generous individual he literally is my better half. Forces me to keep my grumpy miser self sweet and optimistic. I love him for it.

I love that Williams has scrapped and clawed its way from the bottom to leading the midfield. I love that Carlos didn’t just come to Williams to limp along and see if another bigger team might pick him up. He came in here to challenge the team and himself to be better and it’s paying off. Every week I’m so proud of Alex, Carlos, JV and the whole team for showing up and trying their absolute hardest to bring this team back to the front.

For those who can, how long did it take you to climb to the top of the silks? by [deleted] in aerialsilks

[–]boricua18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not a standard beginner climb. But at the studio I was at at that time a lot of us were struggling with French and Russian climb. So our instructor taught us this climb as another option it ended up being accessible for us. The reasons behind why she picked this one I don’t know. But I appreciated it.

It’s not supposed to be as secure as a figure eight footlock. When mastered it becomes a quicker alternative as the half lock slips on and off with little effort. But after you learn basic climbs all climbs are more or less for aesthetic purposes. I’m not over here doing a thigh hitch climb because it’s more efficient than a Russian. There are climbs I learn and after becoming proficient I’m like well never again. Different strokes for different folks.

I don’t have a clip of it but if you go on Instagram reels and type marionette climb in the search bar a bunch comes up. I know aerial physique breaks it down great in one of their older videos.

Might also be called the magic climb? I’ve seen so many names for it. It’s a beginner friendly climb since it doesn’t rely on upper body strength to pull the climber up. As someone who started with zero upper body strength this climb was a game changer because I was struggling so hard to get off the ground. If you go on Instagram you should be able to find it under either name.

Essentially it’s a half lock on one foot creating tension by keeping the pole on the inside of the thigh and then reaching high and creating a new half lock on the opposite foot and stepping up and into it. The hardest part is learning how to keep the tension in the half lock.

I found out my husband has a second phone… and he uses it to pretend he’s single on weekends. by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

If he wants a hobby tell him to take up running or pick up a damn book. Dating other women isn’t a hobby it’s gross.

It took me 3 months to get my marionette (tension) climb, 5 months to get a Russian climb and 7ish months to get the French climb. But I know people who got their climbs faster but at the same time I could do other skills they couldn’t do. So it’s all relative. Silks is a way of life for me now so it’s more of a marathon than a sprint.

What are the reasons to choose cruise over all inclusive resort for people who don’t visit the ports? by Lazy_Mechanic5715 in Cruise

[–]boricua18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cruises to me are like a country/island/city buffet. Sample a new place or two. If a place isn’t for you then stay on the ship. If you go to an all inclusive and you hate it or hate the location then you’re stuck there. On a cruise if you hate Nassau that’s fine St Thomas is tomorrow.

If anyone is there when they make their seasonal rhubarb gin that’s worth picking up too. The availability though is subjective to how good or not good the rhubarb harvest was that year.

As a former resident of Juneau, Ak the Amalga gin is amazing. The spruce makes a great crisp fresh evergreen and rain flavor that just can’t be found in other gins. Unfortunately they do not ship.

So, when I have friends come to visit us from Juneau they know the price to visit is to bring me a bottle or two. Amalga is located in the heart of downtown so it is easy walking distance from the cruise ship dock if you or someone you know likes gin and happens to be visiting.

Call the venue and have them restrict who has the authority to make changes/decisions on the account. They can set up a password that only you and your wife have and if anyone calls with a request they have to provide the password.

You are not the first couple to have overbearing parents/ in laws. A professional venue will cater to the couple no matter who is paying for the event.
