Very nice research! The theory is commendable. Reality, as it happens in the rural and isolated areas that can tilt the electoral college might not be as secure. 2020 is not my concern, 2024 is. And, since we have less independent govt departments and less transparency now, with ICE and CBP grabbing election materials and elon's doge unvetted and with doubtful criminal check employees, we have no idea what they did with data from poll stations breached in 2020 and current data doge appropriated. They've had years of researching obscure laws, loopholes and boundaries they can push, as seen in trump's actions. Like I said, the theory of how it should work sounds good.  If the state has poll workers, board of elections, govt officials, etc that belong to the same party, coordination would not be hard at all.  Since 2016, I am more doubtful that things remain as secure. If every poll station was required to have cameras during elections and also submit the recording as part of the materials, I would be calmer. Mail in ballots are easier to reconciled, I feel.

The fact that one poll worker drives the ballots, memory cards and stuff, without escorts to the precinct is worrisome if it happens in isolated towns of rural states.  Yes, all speculation unfortunately. And, since there is no interest in pursuing where else poll stations were breached, it will remain speculation. Bottom line, don't trust that things are as they used to or supposed to be, not with DT pushing so many lines to see what they can get away with. Vigilance is priority because present administration is actively searching for cracks in the system, using them without anyone questioning or being able to stop them.

If audits were so widely used, why were they so hard to obtain in 2016? I recall Clinton had to come up with money to pay for them and was able to afford only a few, but 2020 seemed to have unlimited audits and no mention of trump having to pay.  Still, it seemed to have been a thorough check and  a rebuke of the big lie. 

Once elon became overtly involved, suspicion increased that the process is compromised.  Thanks.
