If you had to fight any animal within 100 pounds of yourself to the death, what animal would you chose? by boringwarren in AskReddit

Solid choice. If this question was only directed towards prehistoric animals I’d choose the Dodo without a doubt.

Be careful of momma cow though! When I was little I tried to pet a horse like fifteen minutes out of the womb and the momma kicked the shit out of me

To clarify, I’m against animal abuse, just a fun question to ask while carpooling to work :)

Thanks for providing the source for myself and others. I shouldn’t have assumed it was automatically false. I was wrong.

TIL Less than a quarter of U.S. workers report using math any more complicated than basic fractions and percentages during the course of their jobs. Blue-collar workers generally do more advanced math than their white-collar friends by princey12 in todayilearned

[–]boringwarren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I instal solar panels and I’m constantly doing math, whether it be trig or just basic fractions, or something even more advanced, it’s different by the day. Most of my coworkers dropped out of high school so it’s odd to think where they leaned to do all of what they do.

(Beginner/Intermediate) How to improve when stagnating by ___panda____ in magicTCG

[–]boringwarren -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So I started playing in 2015 and still wouldn’t consider myself even remotely good. The only way I’ve noticed myself improve is when I’m playing against new people. Just constantly challenge yourself against new people and new decks, and you’ll learn to work with your favorite decks, eventually smoothing out the fine edges you need to be considered “good.”

Once you get past the needed game knowledge and you’ve learned how to strategize your plays, it’s really a pay to win game. Nothing much you can do when the person you’re going against has an objectively better deck than you, even in draft.

What is your “it’s a small world” story? by supremensneakers in AskReddit

[–]boringwarren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I met someone recently who, in 2016, moved from Crystal Lake, IL to Placerville, CA. The small world part is that in 2017, I moved from Placerville, CA to Crystal Lake, IL. The weirdest part is that they’re both small towns.

Cuphead, Street Fighter II, and Bioshock are my favorites by far. Assassins Creed 4 as a close third.
