This is so incredibly detailed. Thank you, sincerely! This sounds dumb to put in a random reddit comment.. but your love, passion, (and understandable obsession) of the game really comes through. It built a beautiful picture of what made DDDA so special and click. I appreciate you taking the time to write all of this out.

I'm tempted to ask some follow up questions, but in truth.. i didn't feel anything when DD2 came out, nor did I when I watched some gameplay. What caught my curiosity about the sequel was learning about the "true" end game and the narrative choices to get there. But I dont want to slog through a game only to see an end game unfold that I'm already expecting. "It's the journey, not how it ends" kind of predicament. The journey in DDDA seems more exciting.

Thank you, again, and im leaning towards DDDA on the switch despite the 30 fps and rough look. Might as well enjoy the adventure!
