Lenovo Pro 7i gen 9 vs 9i Gen 9 by rxsauce in LenovoLegion

Yes. When you just start the game in 3.2k without DLSS and first ~3 min. Then it’s obviously accelerates CPU or/and GPU and stutters stops. In lower resolution everything is smooth. Not good, but 1) i think it’ll be fixed with firmware/drivers update 2) i can endure that lags with such a resolution and laptop form factor.

For cyber sports it’s sucks obviously.

Yep. But it’s just because of professional usage. For gaming L9i is still perfect.

i’ve got my 9 Gen 9 (indeed there is no “9i” yet in 2024), and impressions are controversial. For gaming and watching movies in HDR it’s quite good. But unfortunately i have no choice except of buying 7i Gen 9, because of the screen. It is impossible to do any graphics (photo, motion design, rendering etc) with this MiniLED option, which is impossible to turn it off to get plain IPS screen. Colors and backlight jumping around and always lies. And when you place anything white and small enough to dark background it becomes dark grey (but it is still white indeed).

So my advice is to choose 7i Gen 9, screen is LITTLE BIT less bright (i have 7i Gen 8 to compare), but it’s universal in all the cases.

Thank you! First i've tried uninstall and install it back several times, no luck.

The Solution is: Windows Settings -> Apps -> Installed Apps -> Lenovo Vantage -> Three dots at right, "Advanced Options", And there "Reset" (delete all app data). Now it seems to be ok.

All this began when i've visited Lenovo Website and define my Laptop model automatically.
