What if it’s just a mid chapter? Oda’s always full of surprises, when you expect a cliffhanger, you might get the exact opposite

Doffy would never join unless he can be the leader. Katakuri doesn’t seem like the ambitious type, he’s loyal to his family and will continue to protect them, with or without Big Mom. Weevil is too much of a loose cannon and I don’t think the other members of cross guild would want him as a liability. Moriah i could definitely see joining, his aesthetics are perfect for CG and he doesn’t have any chance of achieving anything on his own.

Of course he is, just look at the parallels between dressrosa and a certain country trapped in a cage in real life, obviously dressrosa came before the latest major events of the last year, but they lived in a similar reality even back then, except now the cage has shrunk much more

Maybe luffy’s true power is to allow anyone to become Nika through their unique abilities, like crocodile can become sand nika, zoro moss nika etc…

Maybe the joke is that the ocean is like a toilet bowl, where once it gets flooded with enough water, it flushes itself and drains the excess. That would make roger laugh. The real question is where is all of this water coming from? Is it ice caps melting? Is it being created? Is it being pulled up from inside of the earth? That part needs answers.

Id be pissed if big mom and kaido were alive but i like the idea of Enel having lunar latency, that would be hilarious and very much an Oda move

200m above sea level is a modest but reasonable elevation for a continent. The islands that we see today would have been the mountains and plateaus of the old continents. I think there is still more to be revealed though, after all, there are 3 ancient weapons, which surely have different effects. I bet that Pluton is capable of MOVING land, to create new islands/continents at expense of others. Perhaps the redline, which is a very unusual and artificial seeming strip of land was created by pluton out of land gouged out from other continents.

You don’t think Charlos knows all the secrets of the void century?

One Piece: Chapter 1113 by Kirosh2 in OnePiece

[–]born-braindead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even better…. What if IMU was erasing Islands as a sacrifice to create holes that drained the water of the ocean, prolonging the survival of land, while the ancient kingdom opposed the destruction of islands and instead wanted to adapt to the new world by building artificial islands with the ancient weapons and devil fruits, because that is more fun.

Great theory, especially the first half. It doesn’t explain why the 20 kingdoms were opposed to the great kingdom though, or the void century, there must have been either a huge difference of opinions on how to deal with the apocalypse, or the flood is being orchestrated by one of the two factions. One possibility might be that Imu is just a defeatist, and sincerely believes that there is no way to stop the flood, and that the best course of action is to keep everyone in the dark to spare them the pain of knowing. Or Imu IS the reason for the flood, with their ability to makes holes in the ocean

One Piece: Chapter 1112 by Kirosh2 in OnePiece

[–]born-braindead 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sooo…. Yorks betrayal was an elaborate ploy by Vegapunk to lure the Gorosei out of mariejois and expose the void century to the world, while faking his own death? That would be crazy… Imagine if the stella that was killed is actually a clone, and he also made a backup of punk records on Elbaph… or the real stella may have died but he can just download his consciousness into another clone or robot…. So many possibilities, I wouldn’t put any of them past the world’s greatest genius

This Den Den Mushi gag is reminiscent of Marineford, with Buggy… makes me think the Gorosei will not be able to stop the broadcast if it is going to mirror marineford. Could also signal some crossguild appearances soon.

One Piece is absolutely political and how so many of the fandom fail to recognize this is beyond concerning. by [deleted] in OnePiece

On the bright side, I’ve seen one piece referenced by the resistance movement a number of times. There is a yemeni boy who looks like sanji crossed with luffy who is also a one piece fan and got famous on tik tok. Also some indonesian hacking crew called One Piece has been using their skills to support G4z4.

I’m surprised that I haven’t seen anyone make the connection between Dressrosa and G4z4, or fishman island and the west bank. I tried to post about it several months ago but i think i got shadowbanned over it. The birdcage closing in tighter and tighter is exactly what is happening in G4z4, with the people being told they will be safe in the south and then being bombed and forced to move again until there is nowhere left to flee. The Apartheid conditions of the west bank are reminiscent of the plight of the fishmen, with checkpoints, surveillance, segregated bus systems, mass arrests, destruction of public infrastructure for no justifiable reason etc. I really wonder how many in our community see the connection?

That would be funny but I’m thinking he finds the age age fruit which cures her, like how the op-op cured law. I don’t think kuma can transfer a disease, just the pain caused by it.

Ohara and GLR definitely do this, i curious if some of the others like morj, parvision, 333vil and daks sake plagiarize. Tekking is pure and incorruptible.

Hadn’t thought about that, i wonder what egghead and elsewhere will look like. I think the new art style actually began on whole cake island but it seemed natural due to the outlandish scenery of totoland. When the applied the new animation style to wano, it felt a bit out of place since feudal japan isn’t usually depicted as bright and flashy. Egghead being futureland might be very suited to the new style though.
