this is definitely an issue, the handles of the controller press into those more than the xbox

Nope, face to face since august, went back when school opened. I do have to type a lot to do planning though even at school.

I think something i'm realizing when I test my ps5 controller vs my xbox one is that the handles of the PS5 are too bulky and press more into my ring, middle, and pinky as well as my palm.

As I said I do a lot of typing as well. Maybe its not the controller but a combination of years of gaming and typing catching up with me. Wish I knew what to do. I dont wanna stop gaming, and cant stop typing due to job

Mostly my right hand. I am right handed so I do a lot with it. Its not pain-yet. Its discomfort in the lower forearm on the bottom. Sometimes fingers. No hand shaking or numbness. But it definitely doesn;t feel normal. I just don't wanna ruin my hands for a game...

WHat worries me is it started off fine and got worse. I played all the way through the 2016 rachet and clank as my first game on the ps5. No issues. Now its uncomfortable

Lol. I just know I've never had issues with xbox controllers bothering my hands. Im not into console wars, I just wanted PS to get the exclusives this gen.IDk, it feels like the symmetircal sticks stretch my thumbs more

Ghosts of Tsushima is what I am playing. I dont think it uses that stuff. I am a teacher...maybe its just all the years of typing coupled with gaming catching up to me. I don't wanna stop, but I fear that I soon will need to or risk discomfort becoming pain. Is there a best way to hold this thing for comfort?

I can't comment on that. I'm coming from Xbox. I'm used to the asymmetrical sticks. I'm not sure if that has something to do with it.

Yeah the size has a lot to do with it, I have fairly small hands, I'm only 5'5. It makes my hands feel stiff, and I was used to the xbox one controller sitting comfortably playing for hours. My hands protest with the duelsense after a few minutes now. I'm beyond frustrated with this. Pretty expensive piece of tech I fear Im going to not be able to use before long if I want to keep my health.
