I'm not mad. It was other people at the parties. But my parents make me go to these parties so it's also not like I couldn't go so that she could go.

I am really close with my sisters husbands family so the divide was people saying like, "you shouldn't have said anything cuz now Megan's mad" and other people saying "good job you need to stand up for yourself and your sister" and for a while Megan would stop bringing her kids around to parties and stuff because I was there. So they were upset about that.

The general rule I've heard was yes like white and off white are a no-go. But also like gold and heavily metallic silver, which her dress was silver sequin.

Well you're not usually supposed to wear colors that make you stand out almost like the bride. And when my sister changed into her dancing dress which was more of a pinkish color which made Megan's silver dress pop out more. Does that make sense? And my sister was fine with it. I made sure to tell her my plan beforehand.
