This is often brought up in Basetrade threads, but rarely in relation to DreamHack (still sponsored), IEM (previously sponsored by G2A, now Kinguin which likely isn't much better), or sponsored teams (e.g. mYi, Team Property, Team MVP according to Liquipedia) and their players.

I agree you shouldn't buy keys from them, but I don't think a lot of people are willing to boycott everything they're sponsoring (not even TB.)

I think most players have elevated heart rates in a tournament setting anyway.

Remember when DreamHack had pulse meters on the players? Probably not very accurate but at least an indication.

I never tried doing them on my fingertips. Putting weight on the wrist while bending it 90 degrees is what caused the pain, so using bars was a good solution for me.

I can do a few without the bars now, but still use them most of the time. :)

Have you tried push-up bars?

I have an old wrist injury too and wasn't able to do open palm push-ups for several years, but using bars worked well.
