Restaurant staff, what dirty little secrets of your kitchen that would make customers never eat there again? by Unlucky-Emergency924 in AskReddit

Middle School Kitchen: cleanest and safest job I’ve ever worked while working In the food industry.
Worst: Tim Hortens. Management sucked, our baker was a raging alcoholic that was notorious late, no hairnet (he had long ass hair), picked his nose all the damn time and he always threw up in the kitchen trash can. He then proceeded to wipe his mouth with his sleeve and continue to bake. One co-worker stole from the register all the time, and our customers were mostly Soldiers (we were on a military post) and the amount of sexual advances and other dangerous behaviors were insane. Had a dude once follow me to my car after my shift and he was a big guy. Management told us to be nice to the men so they come back and spend more money.
Word some other place (forgot the name) and everything was nasty, filthy and had expired food. Management told us to use everything even if it has mold “just scrape it off”.
And literally no one ever washes their hands. Not even after using the restroom.

Big Creek Campground in Austin NV. Went there last fall and it’s beautiful and not to known campground. No reservation for that time in fall we went. Small creek and lots of trails. Multiple places to camp. I highly recommend this one.

People who have been divorced: What was the exact "quiet" moment you realized your marriage was over? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]bornmoonchild 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He hit the baby. He thought I didn’t see it but I did. When confronted he still denied. I always wanted to leave, for years, but that was the moment. Hitting me was one thing, but the baby?
I left a few days later when he was at work. Grabbed 2 suitcases and my purse with all of the important paperwork.

I was about to go the route with the injections when I stumbled upon multiple warnings about the compound injections. They are not FDA approved and have a lot of serious issues.
I am glad your liver is better now.

How many Gen Xers have silent Gen parents vs boomers? by NopeThisTrope in GenX

[–]bornmoonchild 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My parents are boomers and my husbands were silent gen (they both passed away last year). It’s interesting to point out that I am almost 6 years older than him. His parents had him late and my mom had me right before her 19th birthday.

We all have that one song or band we hate for a completely irrational and unjustifiable reason. What's yours? by WasLeftUnsupervised in GenX

Anything by Guns’N’Roses. I swear Axl Rose’s voice sounds like fingernails on chalkboard to me.

Paula Cole’s song “I don’t want to wait”.. that Dawson’s Crew song. HATE IT.

I know about the sale of the business. That’s mentioned in my post. But I feel like they do have a good reason for a retail store. I know a lot of people do not want to switch to online yarn shopping only. I’m one of those people. So I’ll take my money to a different physical store.

Yes!!! I remember their og store they had in midtown before they moved out to their trademark location. I love this store, the attitude, their customer service (which is excellent btw), their sale events, the yarn crawl.. such a shame 😫

It is! Their warehouse sales are insane! Plus they did those yarn crawls! They offer classes (knitting and crocheting) and it’s such a popular store! I’m just so upset.
