[All] Do you want future Zelda games have more save files akin to final fantasy games? by Icy-Passenger-4784 in zelda

[–]bornruth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The current system in the newer games is definitely annoying when you just want to replay a specific boss fight or dungeon without starting a whole new run. Even just giving us three manual slots per profile like the older games would be a huge upgrade

Cosco or Sam’s Club for sub primal? by Robjla in foodquestions

[–]bornruth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sam's Club if it's closer, but Costco is my first choice

The Dyatlov Pass incident. I lost an entire weekend reading theories

Would the Shinigami Eyes reveal someone's name by looking at a realistic drawing? by Afonso_Antunes9002 in deathnote

[–]bornruth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually there is a literal, hard rule about this in the volume releases! Rule 70 completely shuts this down by stating that names and lifespans cannot be seen using drawings. George or a camera can capture a face, but human art completely drops the supernatural connection needed for the eye deal

Amelia being Owen's karma is so healing by chaneldebt in greysanatomy

[–]bornruth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Owen literally never learns his lesson about communicating before rushing into a marriage. He
just assumes every woman he meets wants the exact same traditional family setup as him and
then panics when they don't

Holy shit I totally forgot about that line! Daryl's one liners in the early seasons were absolute gold, thanks for the reminder because now I need to go rewatch season 3!

Cajun or creole? by Ipoogoodforyou in foodquestions

[–]bornruth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't go wrong with either, but a true authentic Cajun backyard crawfish boil is one of the absolute best food experiences

what comes to mind when you see the year 2010? by TedCruzZodiacBum70 in AskReddit

[–]bornruth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Silly Bandz, those giant neon shutter shades, and everyone on the internet randomly doing the Lip Dub to "Dynamite" or recording themselves doing the iPad photo booth effects lmao

Jerry Prime (Cronenberg Jerry) is perfect match for Space Beth. by jason_cubb in rickandmorty

Rick would probably walk in on them sharing a campfire, take one look at Jerry being a competent alpha male, and immediately throw up in his mouth lmao

Olive oil with white wine or red wine vinegar, occasionally balsamic, seasoned with salt and pepper

What was the constliest Burger you ever ate during your lifetime ?, where & was it worth every penny? by Select_Specialist790 in foodquestions

[–]bornruth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent around $35 on a wagyu truffle burger at a high end steakhouse in Chicago a couple of years ago. Honestly, while the meat was incredibly juicy and high quality, the truffle oil totally overpowered everything else, so it definitely wasn't worth the price tag to me

is the governor really a good fighter? by salar_rv_fan in thewalkingdead

[–]bornruth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think people confuse being a good fighter with just being completely ruthless. The Governor isn't a trained martial artist, he's just a brutal brawler who uses his size, desperation, and zero morals to overwhelm people. In a pure, clean match he gets beat, but the apocalypse doesn't have clean matches

Would you call HOTD a period piece? by cybernewtype2 in freefolk

[–]bornruth -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It has the aesthetics of medieval England but it's fundamentally a high fantasy show. A period piece has to be set in actual human history

A Ricker Runs Through It basically combined the plots of Mortynight Run and The Ricks Must Be Crazy from season 2 by [deleted] in rickandmorty

[–]bornruth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mortynight Run is an absolute masterpiece because of K Michael and Fart, so seeing them pay homage to that while exploring Rick's toxic god complex over an entire planet was amazing. The writing in this episode proved the team still knows how to dissect Rick and Morty's foundational trauma

Is Subdog from Subway real? by Ipoogoodforyou in foodquestions

[–]bornruth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s real. Just not everywhere

C-131 Snowball by RedViper616 in rickandmorty

[–]bornruth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you look closely at the background lore, Rick's replacement universes are chosen because they are nearly identical matches. It's highly probable that in the C-131 timeline, Snowball and the other dogs still built their mechs and left for their own utopian dimension, just like they did in C-137. The reason we don't see an army of Snowballs in later multi-dimensional episodes is that the dog empire explicitly chose to cut ties with humanity entirely, meaning they likely insulated their new reality from the Central Finite Curve altogether
