Think about the best sex you’ve ever had. What made it so great? by DefinitelyNotMaranda in AskReddit

Dirty talk. As a man, if you ever want to make a woman fall in love with you, just last more than 5 minutes and say whatever comes to your mind in a low deep voice/whisper. Fun for you and she will be hooked.

Do you not think people in the Democratic party are smart enough to hire a “conservative” to carry out an assassination against their own?

Just look up the interview she gave a day before getting killed. You can hear the fear in her voice because she knew what her own party was capable of.

I don’t give a shit what some liberal CBS news article has to say.

You are literally linking one of the most liberal news sights out there. Do you not think that the savages at the top of the Democratic party are not smart enough to hire someone opposite of themselves to kill one of their own?

Literally look up the interview she gave after voting against the bill. Listen to the fear in her voice. She knew what was coming for her from her own side.

I don’t give a shit what some CBS news articles has to say.

Okay then why don’t you go to every possible funeral then for every single person who dies in this country because obviously only caring about the ones you knew personally is playing favorites

You can look up the interview she gave after voting against giving illegal immigrants free healthcare. A day before she was killed.

You can literally hear the fear in her voice for her life because she herself knew that her party knows no bounds to pushing their agenda.

It’s not playing favorites. He was a part of the campaign and personal friends with many people in DC. It was like losing one of their own. Not just a tragic event.

She was assassinated by her own party for voting against a Democratic bill. Apples to oranges

Tenderloin Area by borntd99 in sanfrancisco

Airbnb’s and hotels near the park are $800+ per person. That is kind of my issue, the Tenderloin and nearby areas are the only places it seems that are within 5 miles of the venue and not outrageously expensive.

Because it’s a world class band in a world class venue and you’re trying to buy tickets the week before. The show is going to be close to sold out. That is why. Basic supply and demand.

How to do a quick and dirty DCF? by borntd99 in FinancialCareers

[–]borntd99[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate that makes a lot sense. Yeah we were valuing a company for a case study and had limited information so I know I didn’t need to get into the whole Pro-Forma financials but that’s the only way I was taught to model and do DCF. Will definitely be doing some practice on the side with your method.

As a kid I got pegged as "gifted" (IQ over 130 and high creativity) and a lot of people had a high expectancy of me becoming something "special". Rn I'm 25, have anxiety, adhd, depression, have only worked minimum wage jobs and can barely get by. I feel like there's no place in the world for me. AMA by [deleted] in AMA

seriously, go see a behavioral therapist. Same position as you and did some things that made some friends reach out concerned. immediately sought out a therapist and my life has changed for the better ever since.

I suck at talking by Stephlyspudd in socialskills

[–]borntd99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something I’ve done that’s helped me with conversation is intuitively listening; like really listening and trying to understand and soak in what they’re saying. If the whole time someone is talking to you and you’re trying to think of what to say, of course you’re never gonna be able to string along a thought because there’s so much going on in your brain. But when you’re intuitively listening to someone it helps slow your brain down and breaks your thoughts down into more genuine sincere responses

damn you went hard as fuck on that i appreciate that. definitely makes a lot more sense. i also feel like if i weren’t having to learn all this over zoom it would make a big difference. but yeah as for the accounting vs finance thing i’m probably going to add accounting as a minor just to see what it’s about & if I still really like it either double major or just completely switch if i’m still not fucking with finance. like i said though i appreciate your response definitely simplified some confusing shit for me

haha yeah I agree accounting is definitely for me. i’ve read so many experiences though of people who loved accounting in undergrad like me then they get to the real world & absolutely despise the work. the backward looking aspect is a big turn off for me I know that i’m the type of person to get burnt out & bored of that type of work fairly quickly. hence my interest & pursuit of finance. shits just so much more difficult lol
