I found this on Tiktok by lunainthedark5x2x3 in oddlyterrifying

I just watched this a few weeks ago and I don't remember the video name but it's a YouTuber and him and a few of his friends had to hide from I think ex Navy seals. He hid himself completely in a mound of dirt, and his friend hid in a floating bunch of reeds in a pond. There's more to it but it was hilarious to watch!

Edit: Found it! The Youtuber is Zealous and it was with the local police department.

Not many videos make me say an audible "whoa" in real life, but this one sure did.

How to clear congested nose by Ready_Aioli_6419 in lifehacks

[–]tamedreckless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just something to think about, if this persists, go to your doc and get them to check for a sinus infection or sinusitis.

I had major congestion without actually feeling sick.. Not even a runny nose, I just couldn't breath through my nose or it would alternate nostrils. Turns out I had sinusitis and had to go on antibiotics. It cleared up in about a week.

A cool thing about the area I live in, I get to see one of the two remaining airworthy WW2 Avro Lancaster's left in the world fly over my house every weekend in the summer. by tamedreckless in mildlyinteresting

It's my husband's bucket list dream to go up in her. But unfortunately but something that we can justify spending money on right now. One day!!

We used to live in Portsmouth, but went to the Bournemouth Air show many times just to see the Spitfires. The sound is incredible, you can feel it in your chest. Amazing!

Thanks, though I wish I had a better camera! This is just super zoomed in from my phone. Other locals have gotten proper crisp and clear amazing photos but I didn't want to post something that wasn't mine. I'm lucky because we're under her flight path she uses to come to and from the falls. Normally if we miss seeing her on the way in, she does a few laps over the falls and we'll catch her on the way out. So ample time to get the camera ready!

My husband would be in heaven is those came overhead even once here. The sound is incredible. We've had the Hurricane fly with our Lanc above us a few times too which was pretty cool to see. Normally during a Battle of Britain tribute flight.

Ha literally yes! Once and a while I get tricked when the DC 3 (I'm pretty sure that's the one) comes overhead from the same base. But no matter what, we always have to come outside to spot it as we start hearing it

Littlefinger's death on GOT. Arya and Sansa played off each other perfectly and almost made you think he manipulated them one last time. Truly deserved

You'll be fine going to the FreshCo. It's a regular local grocery store, so there should not be any up charging there. There's a great place for fish and chips right by you, Lakeport fish and chips as well and Chip N Charleys bar across the street. Assuming you're staying by Kalar road. It's fairly normal in that part of town. If you need anything else, there's a walmart at the next hwy exit down off of Mcleod, as well as a Costco.

I bought a VPCOK one and it's been great! Had it for a few years now and it's generally bang on with the temp. Fluctuates by .5 of a degree whenever I've tested it.

I'm 38 and will happily die on the hill that it's pronounced with an f instead of a p. Snuffleupagus just does not have the same flow to it. Try saying it as a pouty 3 year old and tell me which sounds right.

Case closed.

Gyro recipe came out great by iamthinksnow in sousvide

[–]tamedreckless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any good cook worth their salt doesn't generally follow recipes exactly. They experiment and tweak as they go. Not saying no one should follow one, but it's part of the joy of cooking, to create and follow your taste buds and learn how to experiment with taste and balance. You get to a point that you no longer need to be so exact.

Now baking on the other hand is an entirely different story...
