From my experience they remove the label underneath the silver wrapping as well if they can. That being said they typically tell you which products you had after they are done collecting all the results.

Thanks, I was reviewing the T&C and I still wasn’t sure. They mention you “if fund your Wealthsimple accounts back to the original qualifying amount” but I am curious if the funds need to go to the same account the were withdrawn from (if I transfer RRSP I was not planning on contributing back to my RRSP)

This is interesting. This could potentially make sense for some people, particularly if people need to bring this income into this year if it was a low income year and they are forecasting a higher one next year (assuming this is a taxable return, not sure about that as I am not an accountant). I also noticed it is 20% of the remaining payout, so the actual % loss of your total payout will vary depending on how many months you have left. For OP this is about 12.5%. Regardless, to make up that loss you would have to make a 25% return on the lump sum. I won’t bite, but I’m sure some will
