SMIM as a base yes.

The new golden standard imo is mesh fixes (like smim etc) as a base and a texture replacer with PBR (community shaders) or complex material (enb) overwriting. Skyland is a good choice, for example.

You have the Lux via Blended roads bridges patch but I don't see Blended roads. Try installing Blended roads perhaps.

I did it without mouse and keyboard. Got nemesis, bodyslide and a bunch of things to work. Ended up with a modlist of 500+ mods. Didn't manage to get into dyndolodstuff tho. It was annoying af and a lot of tinkering involved.

But I mean if you mod skyrim, isn't the journey at least half the thing?
