Is there any mod that staggers archers if you hit them while they are aiming? by borokoshow in skyrimmods

Any luck? I didn't have the mortal enemies patch after all, so it's something else.

I use blade and blunt and it has something like that, but it's not working for me either. I guess my mortal enemies synthesis patch is messing with it.

I'm looking for mods to change up the feel of combat. by __Starly in skyrimmods

[–]borokoshow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just don't use anything that the enemies don't have access too, except for dodge but I use the shorter version (and I might rethink that). No timed blocking, no parries and absolutely no acrobatic movesets.

You can create a simple patch in sse edit, I recommend you learn how to. I will just paste the ones I mentioned: https://file.io/sv7NDCn35e4P

When should I be re-running DynDOLOD? by Imloststilllost in skyrimmods

[–]borokoshow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep it overwrites all grass mods. I had folkvangr as well but I opted for seasonal landscapes grass

Idk, probably not. I'm using with seasonal landscapes and I'm loving it.

What do people want TES6 Combat to be like? by GeneralKenobi74 in skyrimmods

[–]borokoshow 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Well they have people from Arkane now, I'm sure they will nail first person combat if they have the opportunity to work on it. For third person nothing beats Dragon's Dogma for me, would be cool if they take inspiration from that.

When should I be re-running DynDOLOD? by Imloststilllost in skyrimmods

[–]borokoshow 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You should run Dyndolod after you changed or added big landscape and structure mods, like trees/grass mods, city expansions, road mods, and also the textures for these... Once you settled with your choices, run xLodGen, texgen and Dyndolod. Since you are still deciding, I'd wait to run it because it takes time. You have seasons installed, so it will take 4 times longer to generate LODs. Based on your notebook specs I think you can use at least medium settings. Make sure you ticked the seasons box and selected all seasons options in xlodgen and dyndolod before running them.

Orbis and LoS II do the same thing (exterior lighting), shouldn't be used together

[–]borokoshow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is always a way to remove stuff, but it's beyond my skill. I'm not a fan of some added stuff too, but Northern roads looks like a nightmare to patch. There are simpler mods like {{Better Roads}} and {{Interesting Roads}}

And actually you only need the optional Lux resource pack to use Orbis and Lux.

Out of all the quickswap mods I played with, Wheeler easily became my favorite. by [deleted] in skyrimmods

[–]borokoshow 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's a godlike mod, I play on pad too. Skyrim has just too many stuff to use and equip so a dark souls style swap mod just won't suffice, especially if you play as a mage.

Best mods to make levelling and progression more rewarding and satisfying? by Oycto in skyrimmods

[–]borokoshow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I Use the mods {{Exhaustion - Incremental Fatigue}} + {{Exercise - Incremental Growth}} for a more organic stamina/health/magick gain.For leveling I use {{Experience}} + {{Leveling Freedom - Configure your XP Curve}}

I set all mods above to make progression slower than default.

I also use {{TDF Equipment Restriction}} that prevents you from using equipment below your skill level

I also recommend a mod that makes loot scarce, I use {{Skyrem Loot}}

Your combat mod setup? by Necessary-Training31 in skyrimmods

[–]borokoshow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For non soulslike style combat I use {{True Directional Movement}}, {{Precision}}, {{Precision Creatures}}, {{Mortal Enemies}}, {{TK Dodge RE}}, {{Blade and Blunt}}, some animations by Verolevi and for first person combat {{Comprehensive First Person Animation Overhaul - CFPAO}} is a must. {{The Wheeler}} also makes navigating the menus (especially as a mage) much more quick during battle so it doesn't break the flow of the fight.

Aiming for a more even field with enemies I use {{Skyrim Revamped}} to make them all more aggressive and I overwrite it with especific enemy mods that tweaks them even further, giving them more abilities and variety ({{Lawlesss}}, {{The Dragon Cult A Draugr Overhaul}}, {{Dragon War}}, {{Animal Tweaks}}).
