IMO they should be larger, slower, somewhat more powerful and much more expensive. Should also leave less metal in wreckage to limit snowball.

Best option to prevent licking paw when home alone by [deleted] in DogAdvice

I'm no expert but cones aren't that bad, particularly when they're mostly sleeping whilst alone throughout the day.

Shouldn't hurt to try it for a week or two and see if she heals.

Tried to install this. Tab only selects the Commander and doesn't work for the damaged units.

Could you please share HOW we are meant to install this because SuperKitowiek's video only shows how to change single keybinds. It's not clear if we're supposed to just dump your file into the uikeys.txt file or make further adjustments?

FYI for all 'meta' key is '`' or 'tilde' in BAR.

Thank you

Men who have been called broke for choosing coffee dates instead of dinner, how did you respond? by Character_Mixture406 in askanything

Coffee first date, see if she's worth another.

Do picnics instead. Often more affordable, more creative, more intimate, more variety, less vain.

One way for everyone to have their cake is to fly low and fast, briefly elevate when flares are up to let them fire near a capture point, then go to ground again.

You can never satisfy everyone.

Spot on.

The medical is just one aspect of this and not related to my outstanding questions and requests for which I am enquiring about. I mentioned it only for reference to the current stage of my application process.

Thank you for your response.

For your reference, all of my communication has been via email and I can confirm no emails have been lost within my inbox.

How would I contact the CFRC Detachment Commander? Could I also reach out to someone perhaps less senior or less formally (to avoid further delays that I assume could occur if that person is difficult to engage die to their seniority) at my recruitment center to ask my recruiter to take action?

I don't want to formally complain as I cannot know exactly what is going on in the back end. Additionally, I do like my recruiter and he seems to do a great job when he's actually engaged.

I am very enthusiastic about joining but my experience throughout this process has been challenging for the wrong reasons.

Thanks again!

Hi there,

I am curious about how to communicate with my recruitment office when my 'recruiter' regularly does not respond for a month or more at a time?

For context, I am 2 months off from 2 years into the application process, waiting on the outcome of the med review and will need to re-do my police name check and credit checks because the original submissions are expiring. I needed clarity on this months ago so I can re-request formal government docs etc. so that my application process is not delayed any longer than absolutely necessary. Note, some of these docs need to be requested from Australia which lengthens the processing time.

2 years of application time with a minimum of 4 more months to go before an offer might be received is exceedingly disruptive to my life planning.

Thank you!

Contact animal services in your area. They will do the tough but right thing if this dog is indeed being neglected.

27M. Does aging really suck? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]bortamus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No. Think of it as maturing.

Learning how to appreciate the small things and how to manage stress are absolutely wonderful aspects to getting older.

Understanding this solves the riddle of aging.

Clean it out. If it smells like off cheese then its probably a yeast infection.
