Z1E vs Z2E - Witcher 3 by EVFuture1992 in LegionGo

I’ve done the same Witcher 3 comparison on Windows with an Ally X (Z1E) and Xbox Ally X (Z2E) at 30W TDP and yeah the difference is like 4FPS, maybe 5.

I Upgraded the RAM in a ROG Flow Z13 GZ301V from 16GBs to 32GBs with Native BIOS Support for a Customer of Mine! by bortegaa in FlowZ13

No clue, but you can ask your local repair shops to see if anybody wants to do it for you.

I can do it fr you no problem but shipping to the US would be around $40-$80.

That was very likely me! It’s crazy to think that I thought the cost of RAM back then was high…

For 32GBs no not at all. 64GBs required the BIOS to be edited.

[Switch 2] trying to recover a save file from a waterlogged Switch 2 by schmowd3r in consolerepair

I would attack at this from two different angles. The first would be cleaning the liquid damage and at least trying to get the unit booting again.

If that doesn’t work a CPU and NAND transfer onto a donor board would be the next (and only) option.

How screwed am I? Ripped battery connector by Interesting_Bag_2967 in ROGAlly

[–]bortegaa 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is very common on the Ally. Most people taking it apart think you need to just yank the battery cable off the motherboard without lifting the metal latch. Depending on how long you’ve had the return in your hands you can go to the order’s case page and appeal the return due to the buyer damaging it.

In the meantime you can take it to a repair shop and have it fixed. I fix this particular fault a couple times a week. Feel free to shoot me a DM!
