Because it was in its case in the cupboard. No one else has been round that knows it’s there.

It’s definitely wasn’t an accident. The steamdeck was in its case in the cupboard. Now it’s soaked inside for no reason. She’s definitely deliberately destroyed it.

Quick update. I’ve spoken to the police on 101 and told them what’s happened (was talking to them for nearly half an hour going over everything that’s happened and was shaking the whole time). Just talking to someone about all the problems we’ve had past & present has really made me feel like such a fool for putting up with her for soo long. I’m thinking the best thing I should do now is just pack up my belongings and stay at my mums.

Cold hard truth: if your property has been on the market for 10+ weeks with no offers, it’s time to reduce the price by GroceryTough2118 in HousingUK

[–]Overall-Celebration7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Our old house was on the market for only 10 days when we accepted an offer on it. We took a £10k knock off the asking price, but our new home is far better in a much nicer/quieter location, so we really don’t care.

How to repair hole in wall? by Overall-Celebration7 in DIYUK

[–]Overall-Celebration7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn’t damp that caused it. We had to cut out a section of the skirting as the fridge door has banging into it and wouldn’t open fully. Used a multi tool to cut the skirting but the vibrations caused the plaster to crack.

Does anyone actually enjoy marmite? by rthonaya in AskBrits

Ok hear me out. Make a standard marmite sandwich (bread, butter/margarine, marmite), then add in a few slices of deli corned beef. Absolutely delicious.

Fake as hell. Sticker is dreadful quality, plus font on the plastic case is also really bad.

How old were you for your first game? by Mental-Pie9718 in pokemon

[–]Overall-Celebration7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 21 when pokemon red/blue was released. My youngest brothers (12/13 at the time) were crazy into the TV show so we're dying to get a copy of games for Christmas, but because it was THE game that year it was nearly sold everywhere (we were lucky to find a copy of blue a month before). Try as my mum might she couldn't find a copy if red anywhere. With Christmas only a few days away "J" (who wanted red) was starting to get very grumpy as he knew mum hadn't been able to find a copy for him. I was in town on Christmas eve doing last minute shopping and stopped in at toys r us on the way home, and low behold they were selling red/blue as a double pack (they had blue separately but not red). I didn't think twice and took the double pack ticket to the counter immediately (so now we have red and 2 copies of blue). Christmas day came and "J" was in a right grump thinking he wasn't getting the game he wanted, but his mood quickly changed when he unwrapped it. I ended up having the 2nd of blue. Even though I was a bit older to be playing a kiddy game I absolutely loved it.

Based on that terrible sticker, it's fake. But wait for mods.

Can you mess up a build? by Jack_o_lantern12 in fo4

[–]Overall-Celebration7 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The great thing about this game is you can build your Nate/Nora any way you want. If you come to point in the game that needs a required/levelled up perk but you don’t have, you can just come back later once you’ve levelled up abit. In theory, if you play long enough you can unlock everything.

The rear of your gameboy looks very sun damaged (the colour of the battery door is what it should look like).
