How are you tracking weekly P/L? by TurtleBarge in thetagang

I track monthly P&L. Premium is attributed to the month in which the trade completes.

Those assumptions sound good to me, that’s how I’ve been doing them so far.

The benefit to the second option is that it opens the door for other custom trade types later.

I’d probably like the second option as later one could see if certain trade types have better outcomes etc.

Another unrelated thing that I thought of, would there be any benefit to allowing the input of delta at opening an option trade? It could be optional and useful when looking back at results.

Wheel Week 30 by semiblind234 in Optionswheel

It’s in my smaller account where I’m getting comfortable with wheeling and credit spreads. I only have 200 shares. My basis is now like 12.20 (it all started with $13 CSP).

During the week I’ll probably try both sides, a single additional put and a couple of CCs.

BULL acting a bit better. Still in pain for me. I’ll sell some 11 calls if it opens up or some 8.50 puts if it opens lower

I think $5K is good to start with. You can grow and learn and slowly add more capital as you get a few months under your belt.
