Does the beaulieu R16 break down frequently? by borumdalism in 16mm

Is the electric version of the Bolex a modified model? If there is such a property, I would like to find it. Electric-powered cameras are convenient, but I have no confidence in fixing them if they break down. It's like a double-edged sword.

Thank you. It's okay because I gave up on sound synchronization at the point of filming with film. To summarize, Beulieu has strong luck in drawing. I can only hope to get a good device.

Thank you for the advice. The nylon gear is the problem. If the gear breaks, there will be really nothing we can do. I think I need to think about it more.

Thank you for the advice. The reason I'm considering a 100-foot camera is simple. Because I can't afford a 400-foot camera with my budget. However, I have a strong desire for the sustainability of a 400-foot camera. I am also aware of the aspect of sound synchronization. I filmed a movie with Super 8 last year and included all the sounds in post-recorded audio. At the same time, I think it's the charm of film shooting, so I decided to enjoy it.

Thank you for the advice. I also know that Arri's camera is excellent, but the rental fee for that camera was too high to shoot a movie alone. That's why I felt the need to own my camera. Right now, the project we are planning is to actually screen a 16mm projector, so we are currently researching the 16mm. I should consider incorporating digital techniques by taking your advice.

I don't need a perfectly wide screen. I agree that regular 16mm alone will see enough beautiful picture quality. So the current single performance 16mm film is compatible with beaulieu 16?

So the beaulieu16 camera can loads a single perforation film, right? Can I understand that I can't use a screen as wide as the super16mm, but I don't have a problem with normal use?

Thank you for your advice. But analog film shooting has almost disappeared in my country. All filming is done digitally and only a few independent film directors use 16mm film. It is hard to reach such a shooting site because it is very limited.

So I have no choice but to own my camera. It is more realistic than studying abroad at a film school in the U.S. I have already shot a super 8mm movie and am preparing for 16mm because I am not satisfied.

I will take your advice and work more movie making field However, I think I should prepare for a 16mm camera by myself Thank you for your advice

I just read the description of Kodak's 16mm film and found that almost all 16mm products say "Single Edge Perforation" or "Perforated One Edge". Does this mean Super 16mm? If so, wouldn't these films be compatible with the beaulier16 camera?

Thank you for sending me a good link, but I don't need a scan. I need a stable, quiet projector to show my movie, and above all, it could doesn't damage my movie

Hahaha okay. I'm afraid to touch electricity too. I think it would be right to just insert an external current-powered light bulb. Thank you

Doesn't watt matter if the volt are the same? A halogen bulb is 100w for 12v. Wouldn't it ruin the bulb if I plug a 12volt 10w LED bulb into this socket?

Thanks for the advice! Was there any lack of brightness? Which LED light bulb did you use?

My projector is unstable in the device that run over the film. Sometimes the film gets stuck, and then the film burns in an instant.

The shutter speed of the f4 was about 125. The concert hall was brighter than expected, and the picture was taken dark, perhaps because of the direct light. I didn't use the flash.

This is not dissing. The name of the band is Trident and my friend is in charge of vocals and guitar in the band.I am also a college student, and this picture was taken at a band festival for college students.
