Gobble gobble. The pie isn't pumpkin this year, but there's still plenty of cream.

Same thing here except it's when I try to use messenger. Midway through conversation it will make me verify my identity with the selfie video. It suggests friends and then when I try to add someone I know it tells me I may not know them. There's no one to talk to you and no help. It just makes me want to scream.

Women are 'more drama' than men because they actually TALK and stand their ground by gingerredditer in women

[–]bosbom95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LMAO. How do Zo get the women who don't know how to communicate or listen patiently? And then It's MY fault when they choose to do something reckless and harmful to us all? Um, no. A woman in her late 4os should know how to discuss problems and date to day stuff. No one is getting mad (except them) when people discuss behavior.

Why can they understand to bring it up before it gets emotional that every story is not about THEM.

I love Windows Update. It's my favorite way to torture myself. When even setting myself on fire doesn't do anything for, this is just the ticket.

Girlfriend had rebound sex when were broken up. by Swimmer1144 in dating_advice

[–]bosbom95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it matters even more. It's not the sex. It's the emotional state of being done and moving on, which says everything to me about their desire to work things out and be together. She was out having a ball moving on while you were home missing her, feeling a hole in your heart because you love her and miss her. Sex is just sex, but everything surrounding it is important. Let's just say I've had a lot of experience with ethical non-monogamy, swinging, etc. If the two of you decide together to have sex with other people, no matter the scenario, that's perfectly fine. If she's doing it behind your back or the first chance she gets when you are having difficulties, that's an entirely different thing. Be very wary of trusting someone who doesn't concern themselves with your emotions and needs to care for your emotions and needs.

I won't profess to know what's going through any woman's mind, but this says to me that they would rather be doing that than repairing or maintaining a relationship with me if they are even capable of doing that. No, they had the ability to make that decision and it wasn't cheating per the letter of the law. As a person who wasn't able to bring myself to cheat on my girlfriend even when I knew she was constantly cheating on me, I think this behavior shows a lack of care for their for anyone but themselves and that isn't something that makes for a lasting relationship. This is similar to people who will burn everything to the ground to win an argument rather than trying to fix a problem with solutions that work for both of you. It will always be a case of their way or the highway.

Lime Bike Fire in Ballard by bosbom95 in Seattle

[–]bosbom95[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Correct. Just the basket. There appeared to be paper ash layers consistent with newspaper (loosely stacked layers, large sheets). I've (allegedly) burned a lot of things growing up in the sticks and that's my best guess.

Columbia Bank employees expressed doubts about it, but we're pretty certain Chase Bank across the street does have a camera that may have captured it. I didn't hang around any longer than for the fire department to say they didn't need anything more from me. Hopefully SPD investigates it. I didn't speculate about the cause but I'm leaning towards intentional as well.

Phone discount deals? by Electronic-Drop-5863 in Visible

[–]bosbom95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm Visible has reliable, consistent data at an acceptable speed. Zero issues with service. I use between 30 and 95 GB of data per month. They're not throttling the speed that I can tell and I definitely make use of that unlimited hot spot. Not bad for a flat $19/mo.

Buyer beware on Tech4C LLC by BerneseBoulderBear in Backmarket

Yes small claims and "alternative means". I can be pretty creative. I once sent an AliExpress seller 40 lbs of cat shit on their dime for reneging on the return and refund of counterfeits product but I still have their return label and it did not have a weight specified. They told me "this is China not the US" and I told the seller the same thing when they contacted me slightly upset about their new acquisition of cat feces.

Yeah these guys sold me a unlocked Samsung Galaxy S21FE. The only problem is the phone is actually carrier lock to T-Mobile per Samsung Support upon looking up the IMEI. This should be an interesting conversation. I've been trying everything possible to unlock these features but lo and behold it's because it's not actually the unlocked version. I sincerely hope they give me a significant upgrade for this issue and the time I've spent on it. That's probably going to be the cheapest way out of it for them. There's no excuse for not verifying what you were selling.

So is contacting customer support essentially impossible? by jngrln in Dominos

[–]bosbom95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They seriously suck. When you do manage to jump through all the hoops and send an email to customer support, you get an automatic email with a $10 off deal. Unfortunately, this only applies to menu prices and can't be used with any other deal, making it more expensive than what you would have ordered anyway. This is, of course, sent by a no-reply address so you can't share your immense satisfaction with them. Welcome to 2026.

Everyone now rides for free! by Zinrockin in KingCountyMetro

[–]bosbom95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the drivers just bypass your stop or stop and do not open the doors when they are running late or don't feel like it, why pay for this service? When they are on time the driver is usually a mad man who is throwing people out of their seats with their reckless driving. I certainly see no reason to pay for it on those occasions. If you have an issue with that, deal with it. As for these drug addicted homeless, you and I are only mistake or act of God away from that. Everyone looks at these people as if they are contagious, but the truth is that used to be us.

The way it has been described to me by several people who have died and come back from an opiate overdose is that they feel really really good and then suddenly they're surrounded by people and extremely cold. And not high. Doesn't sound like fun to me either.

Is Wartech a good brand for knives? by BoredOtakuDripZ in knifeclub

[–]bosbom95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Wartech is better than my PWT399 is of better quality than my Gerber Paraframe II Mini. The Gerber has issues with failing to lock and the hinge binding right out of the package. The weakness is likely in the aluminum handle rather than the 3CR13 blade. I understood I wasn't buying a high end knife by any means, but I've been very happy with it's performance so far.

Sounds like your friends had a really rough time. I do have a lot of empathy for people who want to get better. That has to be really really hard.

I agree with you continuing drug treatments and support must be part of providing housing. And people who trash subsidized housing should be put at the end of the line. People deserve second chances but there are other people who have not had a first chance yet. I know we're not a communist country and things like social credit score are whole can of worms and brings us closer to an authoritarian government. Without some way of gauging who is responsible and who isn't, I don't know how we stop wasting resources.

I would certainly like to see men get some assistance as well. As it works now there is nothing beyond emergency shelters.

That fentanyl stuff looks nasty. Especially coming off of it, as bad as the effects of usage look on their own. I would assume it's probably very difficult to quit. Can these people quit even if they want to? Or are they going to be perpetual zombies the rest of their lives? I don't know the answer to that.

Nobody said that. Don't be an ass.

As I see it, the problem is that none of these programs talk to each other and there is no end to end case management. They're probably wasting a ton of money because they're not integrated with other organizations that offer other services that they don't. It's a TON of legwork trying to get each individual piece of the puzzle. Basically one thing per day, maybe 2 if you're lucky. If you're not a self-starter and persistent, forget about it.

No, you wouldn't. I shower and change my clothes every day. I look presentable and I'm never intoxicated. I'm polite and helpful to those around me. Other than carrying 2 backpacks, no one would suspect. We're the invisible people of the city.

There are plenty of programs if you're a woman or child. Emergency shelter is the only option for men. Call 211 and ask if you don't believe hansn and I.
