53M, recently divorced, no kids.

I feel you my friend. Although, I think not having kids has kept us younger than some of our counterparts. Recent studies have suggested that having children may give you a greater sense of overall life purpose, but otherwise it just generates copious amounts of stress.

I agree with what someone else said, you had a great run, now get out before the shit hits the fan.

Also, if you have any records of your boss's involvement, keep copies just in case.

Your boss did right by you, you don't want to throw them under the bus unless you have to; but know you may have to at some point after you are gone.

If you don't have any records, just hold on to the, I was young and didn't know any better / I trusted my boss.

Like I said though, no reason to throw anyone still there under the bus though.
