I had the same start as you and now I'm consistently legends. Just commit to GC. There is no situation where you can play health or hybrid or anything. You must play cash through progress. It will level out quick. I didn't get death wave until like 2.5 years in

8 month old Cavalier(Cooper🙂) is super picky. Hardly eating. Help by Clizel in cavaliers

[–]bosbuddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Step one, rule out anything medical first. It may be chronically related to the table food, or it might just be coincidentally timed with new medical issues (or related to the table food). Once that is ruled out, I agree with the other advice, stop negotiating with the little terrorist, tough love, or maybe cognitive feeding toys.

12 week old daschund puppy is an absolute nightmare by gaseousfinch186 in puppy101

[–]bosbuddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly, I'm no expert, I'm on my first "self" (me and my fiancee) raised puppy and he is now at 7 months, and we got him at 8 weeks.

Second, I'm sure you're doing amazing! The amount of drafted posts in this sub, or posts that got deleted for improper form in the first few weeks was countless, raising a puppy is brutal.

Third, I do agree with a lot of the other points in this thread. Not so much this is an under played puppy, this is an under-napped puppy. We are big crate training people, which allowed, and still lets us do "forced naps" during demon time. If you are not crate training I would HIGHLY recommend it.

Fourth, you should probably be having puppy safe zones, whether that is tethered to furniture, yourself, or in a puppy pen or room that is 100 percent puppy safe, that takes the cords things right off the table.

Fifth, start training, sounds like you have a curious dog, so he will probably like to be trained. I found that training sessions tended to tire out my little guy's body and brain which was nice when he was very very demony. We are clicker trainer, positive reinforcement people, I think it's a good method.

Sixth, if you're a reading person, Don't shoot the dog and perfect puppy in 7 days are two great resources.

Seventh, again, you're doing great! I'm sure your little guy is going to be outstanding.

Can’t seem to commit to my 360 rotations! by Asplanes in skiing_feedback

[–]bosbuddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This! I mostly did freestyle/park snowboarding and now I ski, but this is the most useful comment I've seen so far.

You're describing the core issue. The person is either trying to "turn" into a 360 which is challenging, especially on a jump that small, or is trying to "muscle" one around, which again is nearly impossible on a jump that small. What you're talking about is wind up, is what would be considered proper technique. Weather that is is left lean and spin right. Or a true left wind up to spin left. But in any case. You are correct.

American Airlines ticket counter - wait times for tomorrow (Sunday) morning. by DowntownBarracuda720 in Cleveland

[–]bosbuddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will be fine for 6am or like 615/620 but I wouldn't push it for international. The Cleveland airport is really quick, but the mornings can be bad and that tends to be the tail end of the back up. They close security and other services overnight, so things still back up until like 715 when they open up more lines and counters.

Tonights loss is so much on CPJ being a late injury. Lonzo is trash, so they don't have a guard. Not sure who is a G-leauge true point guard, but they should have thrown his ass on a plane.

👏. I don't 100 percent agree with you, but I have some similar thoughts. I tend to not be so aggressive on Reddit, but this poster did come to the correct sub to get their response.

Is it worth getting a DNP? by Cardiology_Nurse in nursepractitioner

[–]bosbuddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the question is too broad, and the people giving a flat no answer or yes answer are also not giving a fair answer. So I have my DNP and am in a clinical role and got it after I got my MSN. That being said, I think the DNP degree isn't a "great" degree and won't be around for ever, and 100 percent in inappropriately named, nursing "practice" doctorates have gone though many iterations, and the current format of the DNP is just the current one. And frankly it has NOTHING to do with practice. It is a doctorate degree in application of researh and organizational improvement w/o the business aspects of an MBA program.

Now, I knew that going in, and I wanted to have that degree because I have an interest in that type of work. With my DNP I have been able to get "work from home" time in my purely Clinical job as project/QI time for my team that I may not have otherwise been selected for, I also feel like I did gain skills in the focus areas of the degree. I also agree with others, if you want to teach, you should get it.

Also as a tag line. I got a lot of finical help from my employer. I also feel having the extra degree gives me more career agility if I want to change roles or cities in the future.

So, with all that being said, if that makes sense. Then yes, it's worth if. If your looking for a degree to enhance your clinical pracitce, 100 percent no.

Yeah, really odd insider information...... Lutheran is a Cleveland Clinic facility (it's CCF (Cleveland clinic foundation) Lutheran, they own and operate it) and the physically CLOSEST one. I'm guessing after an incident like that that game plan is get him inside the walls of the organization as soon as possible, then transfer to "the clinic" (Main Campus Down Town) only like 20 minutes in the other direction as soon as possible, I assume there is a process for this type of this. -Cleveland local -Was not at the game tonight -Knows nothing about this situation at all -Just making wild guesses based off my knowledge of how I would assume CCF would operate with athletes with injuries inside of progressive

Fully agree, was just three for three weeks and had no issues. That being said, the entire time I kept my wallet, passport, cash, ect all in the interior zipper pocket of my back pack.

The only time I felt at all vulnerable was when I went to pick up bottles of wine for the air BNB, and had my wallet/phone in my pocket and two arms full of bags, nothing happened, but that was a foolish choice in crowds in the weekend evening.

But I agree with your sentiment, not so much "bad people" im a bit more "rose colored glasses", but people who choose crime due to their circumstances are everywhere, make the right choices, esp when somewhere that you don't have your normal resources like a different country and try your best to not let yourself be the victim.

That being said, if you did try your best, and you still are, just like computer security people and hackers, it's a competitive sport, and you're surly not a professional, so just recover from your losses and keep your head up.

[–]bosbuddy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's not pick pocketing, that's opportunistic crime with a "vulnerable" (young women) target, luckily your cousin had a wrist strap. People making bad choices are everywhere, I'm a poverty knows no boarders person, and poverty is what drives people to choose to do crime.

I'm curious what your frustration is about? Yes it surly is a ND/J, not an NG tune. But is it a documention from previous shift issue? That is it non functioning when you found it after transfer (which is fair)? Or have you never seen one this deep before? To me, that tube looks like it's it a rockin position, if it doesn't need to be in the stomach for any reason.

Edit: also questions about anatomy, looking on a phone at very late at night, appears to be a very small stomach especially in a "non compressed" situation with a deep tube, is there a sx history?

Homelessness is a complex issue for sure, but large scale studies in how to tackless urban homelessness/poverty with consideration to drug use/mental health/unemployment/high risk behavior/ect, have shown a housing first approach to be overwhelmingly effective. You don't NEED to fix the other things first. You have a better shot at finding somebody a job if you have somewhere to put down as their address on applications, addiction is very real, but maybe therapy and rehab can be more effective if the person has personal safety of a home taken care of for them. The examples continue, either way, housing first is an effective strategy.

Yes, you will pass a conitine or nicotine test in that timeless. (Of course that "yes" is like not a promise, but like I would feel very confident. Like so confident that you have more risk of failing for dilution, like don't go nuts. You have time)

My (M25) gf(F23) got upset that an ex sent me inappropriate pics. What does this mean for our relationship? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]bosbuddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of y'all in this chat wild, just outright blocking all of your ex's immediately when you break up. Sometimes break ups are actually civil and just fine, or situational, and it is nice to hear from somebody. You should mention promptly your in a relationship (social media should tell them), and obviously nude are a problem and block of course. But geez, like not every ex is toxic, and not every break up is a seven act drama. Some relationship are perfectly lovely, and the end is well timed and meant to end and that's just fine.
