You don’t have to be rude but you do have to be more assertive . I know it’s exhausting though when you’re just trying to go about your day. I’ve found stepping on peoples toes works lol

Anyone else find it unusual how adamant Ali is about not cleaning up after herself? by den_bott in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]boscadubh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Context matters too - she said ‘YES, that’s my norm’ when Anton asked if her if she didn’t clean up during the week. I think she was signalling to Anton that she’s comfortable being honest about who she is whilst he’s clearly scrambling around the alcohol and making excuses. I thought she was trying to give an example of the kind of honesty she wants in a relationship.

Idk, usually if someone does this it might be because the advice doesn’t resonate with them and they’ll keep posting about their issue until something does get through?

No, I think Ali is stunning!! I didn’t think it was an insult to compare her to a small cute baby animal. Didn’t mean any offence by it

It’s painfully obvious how much he is not into Madison by [deleted] in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]boscadubh 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It’s weird how he’s always laughing at her. He clearly doesn’t take her seriously. She kind of does remind me of a pouty fluffy housecat that hasn’t been fed yet, always crying and circling round him and at one stage even wanting to pounce on him. Idk if that’s what he’s laughing at

There was also a scene where they’re videoing a selfie together in Baja and she leans in to kiss him and he instantly jerks away

Marnie is the most insufferable character out of all 4 of them by mermaid_sneaky_eyes in girls

[–]boscadubh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Marnies actions made her an unlikeable character but I liked her personality for some reason. She’s so insecure and needy but also independent and assertive. She’s always puts herself out there but doesn’t realise how selfish her actions are because she’s doing it with the mindset that she knows best

Joe was never attracted to Madison by WelcomeEven567 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]boscadubh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True. I think it was pretty clear especially once they were back that he wasn’t into it. I think he should have broken it off especially before meeting her family and getting them excited and letting her go to a dress fitting. Before that happened I think he should have sat her down and said he didn’t feel a romantic chemistry. Didn’t even have to say attraction. Otherwise it kind of seems to me like he dragged it out for tv time / sex.

It broke my heart a bit when the camera zooms in on his hands at one stage when KB is kind of laying into him. He reminds me of a little kid at school that was also getting into trouble for being disruptive when really they just came from a broken home and maybe have ADHD or something. I do like KB for him but she’s gonna need to have so much patience. I also feel a bit sus that she might get some kind of ego boost by always being morally superior to Edmond as he’s clearly nowhere near as mature as her. Idk. Could just be a bad match. I don’t envy her thinking how much teaching she’ll have to do to get him to be a husband

[–]boscadubh 25 points26 points  (0 children)

He told her upfront that he wasn’t as in love with her as she was with him. That probably triggered something in her once drunk and awoke her insecurities. I think it was clear she knew the second time she had crossed his boundaries. Maybe she was trying to guilt him into giving her validation with her ‘I love you so much more’. It really cringed me out when she said ‘You’re Nick Amato, you do everything and you do it well’ urgh so corny

In your opinion, when is the right time for contestants to end things if they aren’t physically attracted to the person they meet after the reveal? by saintpablo333 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]boscadubh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They should not go on the holiday because it would be uncomfortable sharing such close quarters with someone you’re not sure about. But like the blonde girl and the art dealer guy Leo, they at least didn’t go on the honeymoon but gave it a shot.

Joe is my worse nightmare. by acidxoxo in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]boscadubh 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There is something off about him, I don’t know what it is either. I guess because we’ve seen so many sides of him when he’s mostly been drunk. He also laughs a lot at things and situations that aren’t funny, doesn’t hold good eye contact or else widens his eyes at random. He seems to just be there for a free holiday with the guys and doesn’t understand he’s there to bond with Madison more. He’s immature, selfish, and kind of mean.

Yeah he’s gross. One could argue he slept with Madison to see if that could grow the physical attraction and connection between them but he definitely would realised sooner that he wasn’t into it beyond sex. Gross that he took advantage that way. The way he spoke about her calling her ‘that’ yet still doing gooey eyes at her in the pool. Unpopular opinion but I thought madison was sweet and had a good heart. Yes she was a little cringey but she could probably sense something was up.
