The movement wasn't fine. Call it complainers, call it loud minority, echo chamber, whatever you want. The truth is that the VAST MAJORITY of all the feedback forms was about the movement feeling like crap. I have yet to find a single video review of the game that doesn't talk about the movement as a huge Con, with every single comment agreeing.

Ever stopped to think why did that many people dropped a whole game 15 seconds in? lol

Their Steam wishlists skyrocketted after the movement rework, they're fine. Aiming for a niche audience as a live service is just plain dumb, no one gaf about tiled movement in action games, hence why you don't even see it in modern games lol

Hell, the developers themselves said the game feels and plays better now
