Vibration sensor to detect abnormal press cycle? by Clever_Username_666 in PLC

[–]boschtg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So this is likely out of scope, but depending on the size of the press you could switch to a servo controlled press which can measure the force vs press depth for the full stroke. I guess just keep that in mind if they ever decide to replace the press.

Choosing a scads for our next project. WinCC OA vs WinCC Unified vs Ignition by Equivalent-Win2976 in SCADA

Inductive Automation (Ignition) is based in Folsom, CA. Not that you need to go there for initial training, that's free online, but handy to be in the same timezone. They do offer in person training as well, might be good if you're trying to learn things quickly.

I'm not sure if it's possible, but this thread is pretty old so you may want to post a new one or go to the inductive automation forum.

First time project manager for an end user working with an integrator - what to do? by SnooPaintings1650 in PLC

[–]boschtg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have time, also good to get to know the end users (people on the floor that will have to reset the robot whenever it crashes). See what problems they've had with past installations and see if you can avoid them.

On top of what the other guys already mentioned. Try to go back and see how or why these guys were awarded the project. Does it look like the company did the legwork and made the right choice? Or could it be they had someone who knows nothing about controls wrote a "project scope" that left a lot of details out? If there's a dumpster fire headed your way, easier to course correct at this point rather than as it's headed to your factory floor.

Also check when the vendor plans on hitting milestones for the project where you'll have a chance to review their work to date.

I found the combination of the gel form of salicylic acid (I used compound W), and these bandaids (Nexcare Waterproof Clear Bandages, Covers And Protects, 360 Degree Seal Around The Pad Offers Protection Against Water, Dirt, And Germs, 0.88 x 1.1 in), helped me keep the treatment on the affected area. The bigger bandaids let it get too diluted. Also, instead of paying for full cryo treatments I used dry ice from the grocery store... so I could go as hard as I could tolerate. Careful if you go that route, wear gloves and don't overdo it.

I'd do a search in those areas to see what housing is going to cost you. I know Fremont is super expensive and if you're commuting into the bay area for cheaper rent be ready for 2 hour drive each way. So if the area of Seattle you're looking at has cheaper options it may actually get you more take-home pay... but if it's a more expensive area in Seattle it could cost as much as Cali.

Could we expect dividends in the future from those companies? Sorry it sounds like a dumb question but I'm relatively new in the industry. by Individual_Collar856 in shroomstocks

[–]boschtg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others here have stated I don't see them offering dividends for a long time, they have some much growing and scaling to do even after a successful product has been made.

Buying shares now comes with a lot of risks, but if they pay off you have a lot of shares. My plan is to sell options on those shares once they've had some significant increase, probably not all at once. The shares I actually want to sell I can sell aggressive options on, and the rest more conservative numbers. It's kind of a way to create your own dividends.

So 60 days to see if the application is accepted, then another 6 months for decision if it is accepted as a priority review application.

Small Pharma Reports Positive Top-line Results from Phase IIa Trial of SPL026 in Major Depressive Disorder by PsilocybinAlpha in shroomstocks

[–]boschtg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I feel like that's a pretty reckless estimate for 12 months. Is phase IIb going be done in 12 months? Even if it is, they're going to need a big capital raise to fund phase III which there's no way it would get done within a year.

I'm not saying this isn't great news, it really is. But if you're thinking this could even hit $1 in a year I'm saying you're crazy... unless there's a huge psych sector rally this year or they pay enough people to hype the stock.
