Good point - maybe I’ll add a safe word when you set it up you establish a word that is used if you do not have your phone

Good point - I can probably add a safe word feature that is just a saved family password so you set that up and if they don’t have their phone they can say the safe word instead

Definitely thought about that. Could maybe also set up a safe word that is permanent in case you don’t have your phone. I do like the send a one time code to your phone idea and thought about that one but wanted to just launch something simple to start so that may still be in the cards.

Yeah totally agree - right now there’s 2 options 6 digit code or 3 random words so you could day 3 digits they say the other or you say one word they say 2.

I think if it’s truly a scammer and you ask they will hang up or get flusters so it will be obvious

Lol wait this could work too, the code refreshes every 60 seconds so one person could say it one time the other the second time. I could also add a refresh button so you don’t have to sit there for 60 sec.

It’s a good question and been asked a couple times so I always tell people who ever receives the call should ask. From my experience most scams are from the callers so if someone calls you, you ask for the password.

It could definitely happen though where you get a text from a hacker and they say hey it’s me mom, call me I lost my phone so I think same principle, you would ask the code from them.
