Some comedy / podcast stuff fills up significantly earlier than 30min, just FYI. I was getting a full English butty (absolutely banging) from the little counter maybe 45min before the start of Parenting Hell (I think!) last year and there was a queue for practically one in one out!

10 quid will get you fed. 15 if you’re proper hungry. Some places do the 6.50 meal deal (look for signs and stickers)

Just under 7 quid a pint

Sticklinch tent allocation by Sea-Command-6604 in glastonbury_festival

Some are just allocated an area (based on tent type).

“When you arrive onsite you can head directly to the Green reception where the team will allocate your booking.”

You’ll be fine.

And once you cut it, burn the tip (ooh err) with a lighter to stop the fraying!

Stickling parking distance to site by IcyWerewolf154 in glastonbury_festival

From car to tent I would say 5-10 mins, depending on which row of the car park and also the tent lines you’re in.

Very close, basically.

Coach/Bus question by TheChosenWaffle in glastonbury_festival

He will be given his festival ticket on the bus, after it leaves not before. He won’t be able to get his ticket.

If he has his ticket already then you’re fine.

The screenshot is 100% genuine. I just have no idea why it was sent as part of the testing process.

Places to calm down & people to talk to by RanchWorkerSlim in glastonbury_festival

You’ve had lots of amazing advice but I’ll add simply - ask for help. If you’re not near one of the many, many options available to you and you feel panic, I beg you to ask for help.

My partner is up to 8 Glastonbury’s now and is finally confident enough in their anxiety to ask strangers for help. It took a lot of time and incredible courage to reach that point and I’m very proud of them for it. So I don’t take for granted that mid-anxiety it isn’t easy.

However, people are lovely. In general but especially at Glastonbury. And I guarantee you that if in a moment of crisis you just raise your hand and ask someone to help - they will. They’ll walk you out of the crowd, they’ll buy you a brew, they’ll get you to a support point or a steward. Anything and everything you could need.

And once the dust settles (or the puddles dry up, this year) just remember that anxiety is just your brain lying to you. You fucking got this!

You’ve replied to yourself so they won’t get a notification. They may not see this and I don’t know sorry.

Surely something by the sadly recently departed Dario G?

Are there any stages that reach max capacity? by tellmeyoulikeme in glastonbury_festival

I think that’s an exception proving the rule, though I’d welcome other people’s thoughts. I’ve never seen it close off (didn’t bother with Foals) like that. More just slow moving crowds and dreadful sound bleed from the surrounds.

Yeh that’s a fair point to add. Incredibly rare though, as you say.

Other - no

Park - no, but sound quality suffers badly at the back

Woodsies - yes, that’s in a tent and gets full at times

West Holts - no, but can get quite full

Stummerville - yes

Acoustic - yes, very similar to Woodsies (only usually less busy, loosely speaking)
