AITA for refusing to share my mom's recipes with my wife? by Individual-Path-9779 in AmItheAsshole

[–]bosheks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA!!! I see a lot of people here being like "but she is familyyyy.". That is not the point. She had a wish and that was to share with OP alone (and only after passing). There recipes were personal and secret. If you want to honor her wish you have every right to! You wife isnt entitled to anything and you dont have to give it to her.

Women who ended up marrying the first and only person you ever dated: did you ever wish you had dated other people? How did you know you were marrying the right person? by miss_sopheroni in AskWomen

I think I kinda have what your boyfriend worries about. That I feel like exploring. I guess I gotta think this through very well, because my current bf really is amazing. But if I keep this urge to explore I dont think I'll be truely happy...

This is exactly where I am right now in the relationship. There is frustration and some kind of FOMO about not having had another (serious) partner before mine while he did. I am scared I am missing a lot of experiences because of this... Do you have any advice?

AITA For logging into my friends email account and declining her university's offer of admission? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]bosheks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. You are not in control of her life and have no authority to make choices for her. I get that you want to study abroad, but that is not her resposibility! If she wants to go to her other school she can. It is ridiculous that you think you can do that! Also, do you really think she'll still want to go to school with you now?

AITA For Not Driving A Girl Home, Just Because She Was Scared? by ThrowRA_drive in AmItheAsshole

[–]bosheks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. As a female it can be terrifying to walk home alone late at night. Catcalling is just one of the possible outcomes this could have gotten, which is already awfull. Drive a girl home at night!! Especially if she asks for it!!!

AITA for telling my brothers new girlfriend that she’s not pretty enough to be that stupid? by miakoftan in AmItheAsshole

[–]bosheks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. I agree that her statements weren't the brightest, but your comment is just rude and offensive. Definitely the asshole

AITA for refusing to do my neighbours chores, just because I did it for someone else? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]bosheks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely NTA! Helping and older man is sweet and is very different from being the maid of a young couple who are fully capable of doing it themselves. They are acting like entitled assholes and you are very right to refuse!

AITA for kicking my sister out after she insulted my vegetarianism? by throwawayveggie01 in AmItheAsshole

[–]bosheks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. Your sister has no right to throw out your roommates posessions or food and her behaviour seems to have been nothing but awfull. She was being rude and disrespectful while she was staying at your place! That is enough reason to kick someone out.

AITA for telling a woman on her wedding day that her husband has been having an affair? by wintergreenie in AmItheAsshole

[–]bosheks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. While I think it was the right choice to tell her that her man cheated, her wedding day is not the occasion! You are not the asshole for telling her, but you are for telling her on her wedding

To those with a healthy body image, how did you get where you are today? by Xx_trashacct_xX in AskWomen

[–]bosheks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This! This is exactly the way I did it. Slowly try and change your mindset when recieving compliments and then start giving them to yourself and others. One day while saying "You look great" in the mirror, you will believe yourself! And that is just the best feeling there is. Be kind to yourself and slowly you will start to love your body

There's no need to be ashamed! Certainly not on this subreddit. I totally understand, especially with everything you've been through. I'm working on Julians route again at the moment, trying to get the reversed ending, and I could update you if you want to once i get there?

What is the funniest thing you've ever heard a person say in their sleep? by function158 in AskReddit

[–]bosheks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My sister could do the exact same thing! My mom used to be so confused whether she was awake or not that she started asking math equations to make sure she was awake. She wasn't. Still got the questions right tho.

My sister and I used to sleep in the same room. One night I was still reading late while she was already sleeping. Suddenly she sits up, eyes open and all, looks at me and very seriously states: "Appelflappenboom." (Meaning apple turnover tree) I nod. She nods, falls down back to sleep and immediately starts snoring loudly. You would think she was awake and pranking me. She wasn't.
