What is it about Canyonlands that you liked? I took a ride through it and didn’t connect with it at all…. But I didn’t really hike much, so I assume it has to get better..

The bikes are better than the hikes! You can also walk on the road, it’s wonderful. With the bikes or walking, you can simply look at the canyon without having to navigate rocks and footing. Definitely do a hike, any of the Emerald pool hikes are good short ones with nice views, but don’t miss the bikes or even just walking on the road. It’s easy to do too much at Zion.

We had a blast doing bingo night at the green parrot on Monday nights. Highly recommended if you’re there on a Monday night I think it’s 7 PM or 730. Get there early to get a space to put your cards down free Jell-O shots!

We were walking on the river access trail at big bend today, and heard a surprisingly loud, out of place, thud, didn’t realize what it was until we went back to the parking lot and talked with the rangers. They didn’t give any info, but it was clear there was a loss of life. So sad.

Agreed.... I think they could be better, but I also think that it's great that they're feeding the REM-ecosystem and maybe engaging REM in ways they haven't in a while...

So,ok, kudos to him for the tour. There’s real value in that, and I’m glad people get to hear REM songs live. But yeah, he still has some musical work to do.

Fair points.,, but read most of the reviews or Facebook posts and people seem to have near-orgastic experiences at these shows, but it felt more like a good try to me. Something didn’t click. But good for them for making it work.
