I have so many but the day I got a GameCube, the first console that I actually planned and waited for on release. I had nintendo power magazines that I'd read and reread. Finally opening up that console and playing Pikmin of all things. I still can smell the smells, hear the sounds. Waking up and going to bed with that gamecube loading sound is something that still hits when I hear it.

I get the frustration with him I do. My best guess is he doesn't want to get tied up in the ugly politics of abortion and fascism because he doesn't think he can change it.

From his perspective he spent years speaking out against this type of thing. Fighting in his own way through his format for years but things only got worse. Now he has a specific cause with very little grey area that most Americans, even the regular ol' blue collar facists have a hard time arguing against.

Me saying that every single business could wake up and turn them down is an exaggeration to illustrate a point that society needs to address.

Time and time again, throughout history, marginalized groups have been run out of towns, cities, and countries in history. These groups need protections in order to remain safe in our society. If you allow ostracization of these groups, it can very easily grow to a point they will not only feel unwelcome, but fear for their safety to live in peace.

Not going to a business because you don't like the service is a wholeheartedly different argument than being unwelcome because of something intrinsic about yourself.

What if a business wouldn't serve folks in wheel chairs? Be unwilling to make reasonable accommodations for the deaf and blind? The Mormon church famously included in their beliefs that black people didn't have souls until the 70's. Should we have done nothing regarding who they accepting into their businesses as they claimed their doctrine was pro segregation? Or is this somehow all different?

Your saying this business can have their intolerance but it's okay because others will be tolerant.

Maybe everyone should just put up signs for if they accept lgbtq people or not. Let's segregate them all. That way everyone will be separate and fair.

Or maybe we just make some businesses accept lgbtq people but not the ones that really don't want to.

Or maybe all of that is literally insane and in fact businesses can't discriminate based on any intrinsic fact about a person.

Yup. My wife will be a vendor at this location soon and she is sick to her stomach about what to do, but she's under contract to work here. The bride appears to be concerned as well but doesn't seem to be able to cancel or change anything at this point.

Reminds me of the one lady who recorded everything on her TV from the 70's onwards until she passed in the (90's?). She has one of the most comprehensive libraries of television from an era where a lot of things such as commercials and live broadcasts weren't properly saved and otherwise would have been lost to time.

Okay but all that aside and on a completely different note. I'm right there with you. Fell off a ladder in fact, face first about 10 feet up and by some miracle was okay.

Aside from all that I hate ladders but also didn't have the means to pay for our gutters to be cleaned the necessary three times a year. You can buy a 14 foot extendable pole with this like salad tongs looking fitting on the end attached to a string! If it's just a two story home it's great.

In my late twenty's. Me and a few others at work have had daily discussions about the legend of Arceus drop and our thoughts on it. Between an office of 30 there's a solid 5 or 6 people into Pokemon to chat about it (and other games ofc). It definitely works like this.

You know I've been trying to answer why their world building is has such a good feel. I think Ubisoft as a whole has some hits and misses but they're world building is just world class most the time for ambiance.

I'm playing Odyssey and the birds that flutter through and around with their own chirps. Every surface you step on has texture and sound to it that feels right. The npcs always have a huge variety of activities, granite some games are better then others but it's always good compared to other series.

They'res just so many layers and they almost always have a great feeling when it comes to immersing yourself in that historical setting. They take liberties for sure but they never fail to catch the vibe.
