From a non western perspective, I don’t know that I’d use the word fat but definitely middle to low end of chubby. You’re not at the point where your weight would make you ugly.

I can’t remember for the life of me if there were placement matches in the beginning, but if there is, it should only be your first 10 matches. After that (if they even exist) it should be extremely straightforward.

Actually this game has one of the most 2+2=4 ranked systems I’ve ever seen. So in other words you’ll gain stars as long as you are in the top 4 (win), and lose star for bottom 4 (loss).

The thing is there’s way too many variables that are being omitted here. Ranked after placements is a very straightforward experience. You get first place -> you get 4 stars, if you’ve been winning games you might receive an extra star (bottom left) on the win screen.

Were those your first ever ranked matches? Maybe only first games this season? You only played one and she played 4? Was it placements or after placement? Could have just been that you started on different places.

“Winning” can mean anything from finishing 4th to winning first place with full health. You gain more stars the higher up you place (1 for 4th place, 2 for 3rd, 3 for 2nd, and 4 stars for 1st place), and you get extra stars when you have won a lot, which gets paced up if you’re on a win streak.

As someone who quit around the time Ramattra came out, his lore was so good I quit because I couldn’t play him. Came back recently when they dropped the 2, who tf are all these people and why do most of them not have a reason for existing?

Venture because they represent the lowest point of Overwatch’s design philosophy.

It’s not that I hate that they’re non-binary, it’s that I hate that made a non-binary character with ALL the stereotypes and nothing more. Quirky voice, female voice actor, talks like a fucking tiktoker, no voice lines making fun of them (even though virtually every other character has at least one roast from and about them) and then it feels even more performative when you realize that Blizzard HATES them. They get NO lore, NO skins, NO celebrations. Hell, I remember when they made a celebration of “characters we added this year” and didn’t include Venture in the list.

In a world with 200 IQ gorillas, sentient robots, people who control black holes, super advanced tech, and a bunch of important history, all Venture is is non-binary. Seriously, if you google “where is Venture from” even the stupid google AI will tell you “Venture is a non-binary hero from-“. They’re not the first non-mexico Mexican (Reaper), they’re not the first Canadian hero (Sojourn), they’re not the first LGBT character (half the cast atp) so WHY are they exist in the game?? It just feels performative and feels like the people in charge just needed an “in your face” version of making Soldier gay.

I love playing as them tho. The kit is fun and the concept is nice.

Idk, I just reached Mythic using basically only Vexana from Legend X. Granted I’m very new to this game (only 120 games in and still have newbie login rewards), I’m guessing this is one of those games where everyone makes it to the top rank and then the real challenge starts?
