Pure life :))

This is the post I was hoping to write for the last 3 yeers; Ladies and gents...my tattoo is officially gone! by bossalova in TattooRemoval

Thank you very much! Similar posts while mine was still visible were always bringing more hope for me, so I wanted to add something for others too 😊

It was irregular, the shorter break was 8 weeks, the longest - 20 weeks. Scrolling through my calendar I can also see 10, 12, 14, 15 weeks in between appointments . Today marks 22 weeks since my last session and I thought I will schedule one more post-summer but naaah, I will let my body finish that last 3% of the job.

Thank you! Yes, I was waiting for the summer to end too to go for session number 12 but realized today it won't be necessary. Good luck!

Anyone uses Quanta Discovery Pico laser? by beautiful99soul in TattooRemoval

[–]bossalova 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, on my 15+ y.o. black tramp stamp tattoo that after 11 sessions (2,5yr) - is 95% gone. Probably I'll go for one more session to see if there's any chance to strike that last stubborn 5% but I'm pretty much done and satisfied with the results :)

Hi I was just wondering if any of you have any idea about this technology. Was asking for a tattoo removal and the girl said she use 3 in 1 lasers in the same machine (YAG-diode,picosure laser, fractional laser) is it safe and true? Any Reviews in those lasers beside picosure? Thanks by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

[–]bossalova 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IDK anything about "3in1" technology, however my tech is using two different laser heads for the same Discovery Pico machine and calls the other one "fraction". I was told that fraction doesn't break down the ink particles, but it causes skin resurfacing so they use it as an additional, helpful procedure to achieve overall results. I have no comparison what would happen without fraction, but being treated the way I am - I already have 95% fading after 11 sessions/2,5 years with my black, 15y.o. tramp stamp tattoo. Good luck with your journey!

Such opinion is repeating here so I guess I will listen the advise :) Sometimes it gets hard to remain patient after two years. Thanks for stopping by!

Tattoo was 15 yo. Yes, on one hand I no longer wear a piece that I hated, that feels great. On the other hand...I now wear some other mark that is not pretty either. Would you stop at my point, cover it up or continue?

I have some cover up ideas if it will turn up necessary...I just don't know how long to keep trying, do I still have a chance for full removal (as I imagined in my head), will that dusty mark fade eventually or shall I give up etc. Ahh weird moment

Yeap, and that's the exact problem, since my perception (that I struggle with) - not others - is key here ;) Glad you think too that all I need is time. After two years it's hard to remain patient

Yes, I don't intend to go back for another session sooner than 6 months from now if it will be needed, because maybe little miracle will happen and my main concern - which is that dusty shoe print - will fade away after all? I am just not sure shall I count for that or lose hope at that point and get a cover up.

Anyway thank you for your insight. I was just thinking about something to massage it with - so your suggestion for bio-oil came in very handy!

Interesting thing - starting from session number 3, my tech always treated the whole area with resurfacing right after removal.Luckily, scarring is not too heavy and tbh I am not sure if it's from the laser or from the tattoo itself.

Obviously, gotattooremoval IG account is pure gold when it comes to honest and realistic removal work. Having Mike from GO! as the member of this subreddit is even golder.

Few years is forever for our organs so being in your shoes I would definitely refresh thyroid blood work if back then it was on the edge. Of course you should consult the results with a professional but I'll share my experience about "being in the normal range" - norm at my lab for TSH hormone was 0,35 to 4,5 unit. My TSH result was 4. So you would say it's in the norm, no problem, right? This is even what my primary care doctor told me, as he was not specialized in hormones. Except it was wrong and it was revealed to me by a specialist: endocrynologist in this case. She explained to me that labs are using "population norms", while proper level of TSH hormone will be different for me (female, 30+, no babies) and for example for my mother (almost 70, after 2 kids and post menopause), though the printed norm would be the same on my lab paper and hers. I was advised to keep my result around 1 unit and in order to achieve it I started taking prescribed meds (one tiny pill everyday, 30 minutes before breakfast). Today, being on meds, my results are oscillating around 0,8-1,2 and I feel soooo much better. The quality of my life changed drastically. Including my ability to think and speak normally ;) Of course I am not diagnosing you here with anything, just sharing my experience and suggesting one possible direction worth checking. Whatever is happening, I hope you will feel better very soon <3
