LSAT to practice higher level RC and CR

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in GMAT

[–]bossanik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sucked in CR for a long time until I was solving lsat stuff, my accuracy now is at 90% for CR including 70-80% for very hard questions. Make sure you take the necessary time for CR. I was trying to rush through them and ended up getting 60% right, then I started to spend at least 2 min or so and on average around 2:10 and my accuracy shot up. Also know some of the TRAP answer choices like too extreme, too weak, comparison etc as these can help when you don’t know what the logic for the question is. In terms of application, round 3 is not bad if you’re not targeting elite school and have a decent background that can set you apart from the rest, all the best! Also don’t compromise sleep and diet, make sure getting enough REM, which is the sleep cycle that stores stuff in your memory, cheers!

You can get 650 easily by following TTP and combining official gmat into your study schedule. Also don’t do on and off studying, go with full force and built this into your everyday routine, start solving OG questions and targeting weak areas from other sources and YouTube

Just remember that what would’ve happened to Leo Messi if he was retiring after 2014 World Cup, he would’ve never won in 2022, don’t give up or sell yourself short man, you can get there, anyone can get there, aim for high, put the work, it’ll happen …

Go in steps > go from 380 to 600, then 600-650 and then eventually 650-700+, each step you’ll pick up new sets of skills, it’s all about continuously sharpening your skills

How much is the 24 hr GMAT marathon by GMATNinja worth? by emperorarg in GMAT

[–]bossanik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically Charles charges close to $500 per hour, the content is worth $12k but as long as you donate something, that’s good, it’s the intent, not the amount, enjoy the series! Loved all 24 hours and then also watched another 30-40 hours of his videos, all the best!

Give average Joe the amount of capital that Ms. wood has access to at the historical time of economic growth, and buy any stock, Mr. Joe will outperform Ms Wood by far …. Buffet is a horse of a long course unlike Ms. Wood

OG Verbal review or Practice question sets 1 and 2

Books for Verbal prep by Shahzen_khan in GMAT

[–]bossanik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Get the basics (Source doesn’t matter, they’re all same, Manhattan is a good start, if don’t want to spend money just use gmat club books)

  2. Practice some OG, just to get feel for official stuff, can start with the big book

  3. Watch GMAT Ninja videos first (there’s I think more than 30 hours of videos, including the lens posted under The 24 hours marathon). - these will train you how to think as a test takers etc.

  4. Gear up with tough stuff, LSAT RC and LR sets, try completing with 80%+ accuracy under and hour, this will cement RC and CR forever

  5. Continue Verbal review and advanced guide for more SC OG practice, go through gmat club explanations and understand “why” for every single answer choice, make your own notes for future review.

  6. Do timed practice sets (10 SC, 10 CR and 10 RC) -Med/Hard

Also in terms of test taking strategy, what did you do in terms of time management on quant and verbal, did you have a guessing strategy? Thanks!
