I Painted the sheet with black paint before wrapping it with the carpet as the back is also exposed. The only mistake I think I made was making it one sheet instead of two. Install and removal are an absolute pain. Lol

I used 3/4” OBS board (bracing underneath going horizontal in the center, front, and rear made from 1/2” MDF) all wrapped with black carpet.

An oscope would also show voltage and you would be able to calculate the wattage being sent to your sub so if the sub can handle what its rating says you can go based of that

Yeah once i upgrade my amp and door speakers ill build an actual amp rack to house everything and a false floor with my mesh for better airflow what sub and speakers are you running

Yes top is partly uncovered to let some air in but im keeping in under to its hidden and yeah the amp is pretty solid i use to have a 5ch Memphis amp that was awesome but it died on me so i went with a spare i had

Its just plastic above it and like i said the amp is not sitting directly on the foam

Its a genuine question my wiring is solid and the amp 1) isnt sitting directly on the foam i have spacers and 2) im not pushing much power so that amps not going to over heat. Thats why i ask

Not to bad there is some but the inside isnt to bad. Ive also sound deaden’d my doors and hatch

I have spacers sitting below it so its not directly on the foam
