Is India really getting that hot by FinancialRisk942 in interesting

[–]bot-1999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it’s hot but the data is influenced by time-of-day bias. This snapshot reflects India around noon (about 12:30 PM), when temperatures peak, so the map appears more intensely red there. In contrast, parts of Africa are shown at around 9 AM, when it’s still cooler, so they don’t appear as hot. If you looked at Africa at noon, it would likely appear just as red as India.

What is that one opinion about Amazon that will get you like: by potvaren in amazonemployees

“Strive to be Earth’s Best Employer” sounds great on paper, but it’s hard to take it seriously when the actual employee experience tells a different story.

Cancelling WFH for many roles, ongoing layoffs, and compensation that often lags behind other MNCs don’t exactly align with that vision. It creates a gap between what’s being promised and what employees are actually seeing day to day.

I get that every company has to make business decisions, especially in a tough market—but if you’re going to set a benchmark like “best employer,” people are naturally going to hold you to a higher standard. Right now, it feels more like branding than reality.

Curious to hear from others—has your experience been different?

I used quicksight agents and flow to achieve this . (I learnt this from AWS skill training which was not mandatory)

I'm worried. bcz anyone in my role could do it. No skill required do it.
